operating the complete machine have read and understood the operating instructions

The operating instructions of the entire machine shall be provided by the supplier of the
entirety of all the connected machine components.

These installation instructions contain specifications on the proper installation in a complete
machine, and operation and maintenance of this incomplete machine.

not able to solve your problem with a help of these assembly instruction, please contact

1.2 Safety
Use the device only under the following conditions:
The technical status is in proper working order.
The device is used as prescribed.
The mounting instruction is followed.
Malfunctions should be eliminated immediately.
In case of any malfunction immediately switch off the device and secure it against
unintentional or unauthorized starting up.
Notify the person responsible immediately of any modification.
Avoid any unsafe work methods:
Make sure that your operation does not create a safety hazard.
The instructions mentioned in these mounting instructions have to be strictly observed
during assembly, operation, maintenance and repair.
Do not work on the automatic table feed, if your concentration is reduced, for example,
because you are taking medication.
Observe the accident prevention regulations issued by your Employers Liability Insurance
Association or other supervisory authorities applicable to your company.
Inform the supervisor about all hazards or faults.
Stay at the machine until the movements have stopped completely.
Use the specified personal protective equipment. Ensure you wear close-fitting clothing
and, if necessary, a hairnet.
Observe the notes of the machine tool.
In addition to these assembly instruction, please observe
the applicable laws and regulations,

When installing, operating, maintaining and repairing the universal table feed, the relevant
standards must be observed.
If European standards have not yet been incorporated in the national legislation of the country
in question, the specific applicable regulations of each country must be observed.
If necessary, relevant measures must be taken to comply with national regulations before
commissioning the universal table feed.
Always keep this documentation close to the machine.

INFORMATION
On older machines, these signal cables may be
missing on an older V99. To enable operation of
the new V99S, the de-energized signal cable
(yellow and red) must be connected together.

INFORMATION
With newer V99S as a replacement for older V99, the de-energized yellow and red signal
cables must be connected (2) together so that the V99S can be switched on.
Preferably, the looped-through signal cable (yellow and red) should be integrated into the
existing emergency stop circuit of the machine.

RAPID-SWITCH,
activate the rapid feed motor.
Connect the electrical supply cable.
Set the feed speed on speed dial.
Move the direction lever to the direction in which you want the cross table to move.
When the lever is in the central position, the feed motor is halted.
INFORMATION
The circuit is automatically disconnected if a current of 4 A circulates through the safety switch
for more than 10 seconds.
Press the CIRCUIT-BREAKER button to start the engine again.
CAUTION!
During its service life, the emergency stop switch is not designed to shut down the table
feed during operation. Use the ON/OFF switch to do this.
ATTENTION!
Do not switch the drive from left to right rotation during operation. Wait until the
universal table feed has stopped.
The limit switch turns off the automatic feed with reaching the preset position.
Disconnect the electrical supply cable at a longer standstill of the machine from the power
supply.
ATTENTION!
During manual operation the stops may collide with the end stop switch. This can cause
damage to the end stop switch.

Remove - if not already - the feather key out of the spindle.
Slide in the worm gear on the spindle.
Check the backlash of the gear. If necessary use the spacing plates and washers from the
accessory material to adjust the backlash.
When the backlash is set correctly, disassemble the worm gear again and lubricate the
worm gear with a commercial roller bearing grease.
Attach the feather key in the spindle.
Slide in the worm gear on the spindle again.
Fix the worm gear with the spindle nut.

CAUTION!
The works must only be performed by an electrical specialist or under the control and
supervision of an electrical specialist.
Before starting work on electrical parts or operating agents, the following actions must be taken
in the order given:
disconnect all poles,
secure against restarting,
check that there is no voltage.
Check the cover of the transformer.
Mount the transformer to a stable and dry wall.
Fix the cable in such manner that no danger can arise.
Connect the transformer to the automatic universal table feed.
