encountered during gauge run.
3. Pickle the CT reel to ensure there is no trash or debris present in the coil tubing. Catch
the pickle and dispose as per Energy Quest Oil Field Services procedure.
4. R/U Coil Tubing and wash out well to desired depth. Pick up to proposed set depth and
Mark the CT for the retainer. POOH.
6. Go in hole with cement retainer at a moderate rate. Stop at set depth. Record pick-up,
slack off and neutral weight.
7. Drop 5/8” steel ball and allow to gravitate to packer at set depth. Wait 1 hour.
8. Pressure up to set packer. Slack off 4,000# on packer. Pressure up to 5,000 psi to
fully set and release from cement retainer in 500 psi increments.Expect to see a sharp
drop in pressure on the pressure gauge as the ball seat blows to open up circulation
holes on the Cement retainer valve.
9. Pressure up on Coiled Tubing/Production Tubing annulus 500 psi to test packer sealing
integrity. Maintain 4,000 lbs. stacked weight and 500 psi pressure during pumping.
