Thru-Tubing Pre-Pack Screen Hang-Off
1. Prep well as per Oil Co. procedures.
2. R/U slick-line, RIH with 2.725” gauge to?. Note and record T.D. and any tight spots in the
tubing. POOH.
4. Go in hole with BHA at a maximum in-hole rate of 60' per minute. Record pick-up, neutral
and slack-off weights every 1000’. Run correlation log and tie-in tool string. Stop at ?.
Confirm depth. Set packer at ? and release the assembly. POOH.
5. Return well to production as per Oil Co. procedures. Recommend starting at low flow rate
with gradual increases over time while monitoring.

Thru-Tubing Fishing Procedure
1. Prep well as per Oil Co. procedure(s).
(Note the retrieving tool may be run on CT w/ jars, accelerator and BSC’s)
2. R/U Slick-Line. RIH with 2.725” OD impression block. Tag the top of fish (Release Neck)
at set depth. Note and record T.D. and any tight spots in the tubing. POOH. Inspect
impression block for scars and markings.
3. RIH with Slick-Line BSC, Wt. Bars, Spang Jars, BSC and TTS buttress Pulling Tool.
4. Locate Buttress Shear Down Pulling Tool on fishing neck of the Packer, Tap-down slightly
to fully engage fish neck on the plug.
5. Jar-up to unset Packer (±4,800 lbs over pick-up weight). Slowly pick-up to ensure plug
has been released. Stop. Shut down for 1 hour to ensure elastomers are in the relax
stage.
6. After waiting, proceed in pulling assembly out the hole. It may be necessary to continue to
Jar to release the screens as well as the packer. Note: Watch carefully while POOH. Utilize
jars if needed during fishing operations. POOH.
7. Repeat steps 6 thru 9 to fish out screen. Note: Shear joint has a 2-1/2” GS Profile fish
neck.
