1. Introduce your business.

This business aims to establish a pet service that caters to the growing demand
for pet care. The services offered will include pet boarding, pet grooming, recreational
and outdoor activities for furry friends, as well as selection of specialized pet products –
specifically for dogs and cats.

*Operating hours: 12 hours monday from 7am-7pm, weekends 7am-9pm (checkout


anytime since receptionist is present 24 hours)

2. Why did you choose this business/ how did you come up with this?

We, as the future owners of this Pawfect Hotel business, were inspired by the growing
number of pet owners in our community, specifically here in Iloilo City. There are a lot of pet
owners who struggle to find a trustworthy place to leave their fur babies with if they have
important things to do or if they need to travel, so we chose this business to fill that gap with
love, care, and professionalism. We come up with this business with the idea of our shared love
for pets; we believe that regardless of what could be the breed of a pet, they all deserve equal
treatment and love. The Pawfect Hotel is a pet boarding service that offers comfort and a safe
place for pets; we offer grooming services, boarding services, and lastly, we are selling pet
products that meet the needs of our customers. In the end, the existence of this business could
bring impactful memories for both pet owners and fur babies.

3. Significance of the business

There are a lot of pet owners who struggle to find a trustworthy place to leave their fur
babies with if they have important things to do or if they need to travel, so we chose this
business to fill that gap with love, care, and professionalism. There are several ways that our
business can contribute to the community; we focus on these different things: to offer quality
pet care for pets, to provide safe space for pets regardless of their breed, to boost the local
economy as we are sourcing our products from local suppliers, which could also help other
businesses

4. Explain your Methodology

Research methods such as descriptive statistics to get the result and purposive
sampling are used to compose the data and other gathering tools such as survey
questionnaires, related studies are included by identifying the target market and
expected results. 32 participants from Mandurriao, Iloilo City

Used researcher’s made questionnaires in gathering the needed data in this


study. to address and support our study in a credible manner that is distributed to 32
respondents which are the pet owners and 20 yo above from Mandurriao, Iloilo city.

6. How can your business contribute to the community?

There are several ways that our business can contribute to the community; we focus on
these different things: to offer quality pet care for pets, to provide safe space for pets regardless
of their breed, to boost the local economy as we are sourcing our products from local suppliers,
which could also help other businesses, and stimulate the economic activity in Iloilo City. Having
this kind of business here in Iloilo City doesn’t only focus on bringing comfort, but we also aim to
bring people together and foster a more pet-friendly community, as we believe that “inclusion
in society” is not just for us humans but also for our fur babies.

7. Method/sampling technique

The method or sampling technique that we used is the purposive sampling


technique because we only select participants based on specific criteria relevant to the
study's objectives. 32 respondents-pet owners from Mandurriao, 20 yo above.

8. Did you bridge any gap from your study?

Yes, we have gone through a lot of revisions in the paper, changes because of
some errors such as the format, the contents and grammatical errors but we are hoping
for more suggestions and recommendations to make this as a credible business study.

9. Why are the pet owners as your respondents?

Since they are the main target market, we are expecting to have customers
especially pet owners and to know their perspective and opinion if this business will be
established, if they are interested or not.

10. Is there any back up study?

WALA bcs I believe that with all of our efforts and dedication, we are confident
enough to make this business successful. I am confident because with the knowledge
that we have in formulating such studies, we can overcome those challenges behind this
study. And because of that, we will be open to your suggestions and recommendations
to make improvements and to make this a good and credible feasibility study.
11. What makes your study unique/ STANDOUT FROM OTHERS?

We offer 4in1 major activities such as daycare, boarding, grooming and sellig pet
products. Here in iloilo, wala masyado pet hotel there’s only 1 located at Jaro and by
observing their facility, it is not fully recommended for pets to stay since there are a lot
of things inside that needs improvement especially their security for pets and the lack of
cleanliness are also observed. And based on the results of our survey, pet owners,
especially those who are investing in their pets, are very interested in having this kind of
establishment.

12. Statistical tools used

The statistical tools used to analyze and interpret the gathered data is the mean
used to measure the central location of numerical data set or the distribution of a
random variable. Percentage is used to determine “how much” or “how many” of the
respondents gave a particular answer. T-test allows us to compare the average values of
the two data sets and determine if they came from the same population. It is used as a
hypothesis testing tool, which allows testing of an assumption applicable to a
population.

13. How did you implement your study?

We conducted surveys with the pet owners residing in Mandurriao, IIoilo City,
specifically pet owners around Megaworld, in order to determine the needs and
preferences of the pet owners for pet care services, and their feedback could help us
ensure that our services will align with their preferences. We also develop a structured,
detailed business plan, which includes services like grooming, boarding, and selling of
pet products. We also have our competitor analysis data to determine and analyze our
existing competitor, which could help us understand market situations and gaps, and
this could also help us make our services better and be open to new opportunities that
could make differences from our competitors. This study also evaluated technical,
financial, and operational costs, including our location, equipment, projected costs, and
staffing, to ensure the feasibility of this business. This study has also been consulted and
checked by an expert, specifically our adviser; we asked for advice as he is a professional
in this field. The discussion of consultation could help us refine our process and enhance
the services that we offer to the pet owners. This structured and systematic process will
be able to help Pawfect Hotel business to ensure its relevance and value for pet owners,
fur babies, and the community.
14. How did you formulate your objectives?

We want to know how we can develop a diverse range of services, including pet
boarding, grooming, recreational activities and specialized product sales. And how to
achieve financial sustainability by building a loyal customer base and increasing sales
revenue by at least 10% annually.

15. Your business shows as moderately feasible, what will u do? paano mo ni masell
ang business idea kung muna?

Even though moderately feasible, there is still potential growth for the business since
there is a continuous growth of the pet demand.

16. What are the potential risks to your business, and how will you mitigate them?

Potential risks include high operating costs, competition, and economic downturns. To
mitigate these risks, we will focus on cost management by optimizing resources,
negotiating with suppliers, and streamlining operations. Additionally, we will implement
adaptive marketing strategies to remain competitive and offer flexible pricing options
during challenging economic periods.

17. Why did you choose Mandurriao as your location?

We chose Mandurriao, Iloilo City, because of its growing population of pet owners and
its strategic location within the business and residential hub. The area is accessible,
surrounded by commercial establishments, and caters to a demographic that values
convenience and quality pet care services. Our market analysis shows significant
demand for pet-related services in the region, making it an ideal location.

18. How will you ensure the safety and well-being of the pets in your care?

The safety and well-being of pets are our top priorities. We will implement strict health
protocols, including vaccination requirements, health assessments upon check-in, and
24/7 monitoring. Our staff will undergo training in pet care, emergency response, and
customer service. Additionally, our facilities will include pet-safe flooring, secure play
areas, and a partnership with a local veterinarian for emergencies.

19. How do you plan to address the low interest in boarding services?

To address this, we plan to implement targeted marketing strategies, such as discounts


for first-time customers, and loyalty programs. We will also highlight the safety,
comfort, and convenience of our boarding facilities to encourage pet owners to use this
service.
20. How will you measure the success of your services?

Success will be measured through customer feedback, repeat bookings, and revenue
growth for each service. Key performance indicators (KPIs) like occupancy rates for
boarding, grooming appointments, and product sales volume will also be tracked.
Additionally, we will monitor online reviews and ratings to assess customer satisfaction
and make improvements as needed.

21. How do you plan to attract and retain customers?

We will attract customers through social media marketing, partnerships with local
veterinarians, and promotions such as discounts and loyalty programs. Retention will be
achieved by consistently providing high-quality services, creating a safe and welcoming
environment, and offering personalized care. Regular feedback collection will help us
improve and meet customer expectations.

When target revenue increases yearly, the basis of 10% interest depends on the growing
market share.

Owners can message the page of the pet hotel handled by the receptionist or caretakers
to end updates such as pictures or videos of their pets.

25. How will the business build trust with first time customers?

We will highlight the safety, comfort, and convenience of our boarding facilities to
encourage pet owners to use or try our services. In order to gain the trust of our first-
time customers, we will help pet owners familiarize themselves with our facilities and
services by having transparent communication with them and sharing detailed
information about how we will provide care for their fur babies. We will also have a
loyalty card for them if they will continue to use our services.
