1.What unique features attract customers to MGM Resorts International? List and describe
each.

-MGM Resorts International has Clubs and Nightlife like Grand Hotel & Casino that provides the best nightlife
experience. Witness performances by world-class DJs and performers for a memorable entertainment experience the other
features is Food. They have around 400 meals available. From breakfast to supper, MGM
Resorts offers a variety of dining options that highlight the finest of local and
national culinary skills. Modern meeting and conference facilities This features provide hosts a variety of major
events such as boxing, award ceremonies, seminars, and other large gatherings.
When an event is place, a large number of people visit MGM Resort or this exact
region.

2.How is the casino industry converging with other aspects of tourism?

-Many countries have built large casinos outside their borders to attract tourists, which not only boosts the economy but
also increases investment opportunities. The global gaming industry, well-known in tourism, has fueled the rise of casino
tourism in recent years. This trend prompts a closer look at both the negative and positive impacts of casinos on tourism
and the economy.

curb the Omicron variant spread, leading to a surge in revenue. However, regulating all casinos remains a challenge,
contributing to issues like problem gambling. Despite this, casino tourism continues to attract visitors from various
countries, benefiting local businesses and economies.

Advantage: Casino tourism stimulates economic activity, generates increased tax revenue, creates job opportunities, and
supports charitable causes.

Disadvantage: Challenges include job losses and closures during pandemics, difficulty in effectively regulating all casinos,
and a rise in issues related to problem gambling.

4.What do you recommend to enhance the advantages of the casino industry in the country
and lessen the disadvantages?

-To enhance the advantages of the casino industry, policymakers should focus on implementing responsible gambling
measures and robust regulations to protect vulnerable individuals and mitigate social issues like addiction and crime.
Investing in infrastructure and entertainment facilities within casino resorts can attract more tourists, boosting revenue and
stimulating economic growth in the local community. Collaborative efforts between the government, industry stakeholders,
and community organizations are crucial for fostering sustainable growth and addressing concerns effectively.
To lessen the disadvantages of the casino industry, strict regulations on responsible gambling should be enforced alongside
diversifying entertainment offerings beyond gaming. Investing in social programs to address addiction and supporting
affected communities can also mitigate negative impacts associated with gambling.
