ELIGIBILITY FOR JUNIOR TOURNAMENTS

IMPORTANT : The rules of eligibility to participate in a tournament of MPCA should ideally be similar to the BCCI rules because MPCA tournaments
are being conducted for selection of state teams. However, certain rules of BCCI in respect of 'player's eligibility' are stringent and hence shall deprive
opportunity to junior players to display & evaluate their skills as a part of individual development. Also, most of the tournaments of MPCA are
conducted much in advance of the announcement from BCCI about such rules for a season. Hence, MPCA has decided to modify certain norms ONLY
for MPCA tournaments. Selection of any player for BCCI Tournament shall be strictly as per the BCCI norms from time to time.

INSTRUCTIONS TO FILL UP AND SUBMISSION OF REGISTRATION FORM

i. This form is valid for one year and for specific age group. Form is to be submitted in original.
ii. Players / player’s guardians / parents fill up this form in blue ball point pen and in capital letters only.
iii. All points of the Form shall be filled duly and shall be signed by player, player’s parents/guardian, Divisional Secretary before submission at
MPCA Office. Empty form will not be accepted in the MPCA office. Blank form, inadequately filled form, or a form not signed shall not be
accepted. If any form is found to be inadmissible owing to reasons mentioned here, in such case players / player’s guardian / parents /
Divisional Secretary / District Secretary shall not claim registration. MPCA shall not responsible for cancellation of registration or not
allowing players to play on such condition.
iv. MPCA must receive filled and signed registration form as per the registration rules in force.
v. Attach two RECENT – COLOUR - PASSPORT size recent colour photos (one photo shall be pasted in the space provided at front page of
and one shall be stapled with the form and make sure not stapled on the face). Write full name & division of the player behind spare photo.
vi. Sign across on the photograph pasted on form. Signature shall cover half on form and half on photo. Signature not to cover face of the player.
vii. A player may represent his/her division in any single age group as per the players eligibility & registration rules.
viii. A player who is a part of playing eleven for a team shall be considered to have participated in the tournament for that year.
ix. Read carefully all points before filling / submission of documents. All proof shall be attached with the form at time of submission at MPCA.
x. Player shall submit self-attested photocopy of birth proof, address proof, identity card, passport, transfer of division since last season.
xi. Parents (Jointly ) / Individual or joint Guardian of every player shall submit declaration / indemnity from parents / legal guardian of player
nominated for Skeletal screening test in original along with the registration form on 100/- non Judicial Stamp paper to be attested by Notary
Public / Executive / Judicial Magistrate (Refer attached copy of declaration to be submitted in Non-Judicial Stamp Paper).

CONSENT
i. I (player self) / We or Me as Parent or Grand Parent or Legal Guardian of player declare that I (player self) / We or me as parent Grand Parent or
Legal Guardian have no objection to take my (player self) / my / our son/daughter/grandson/granddaughter/niece/nephew/brother/sister’s
photograph /video and use them for any kind of publication in news media / magazine. Also I / we allow using photograph / video for training
purpose.
ii. I (player self) / We or Me as Parent or Grand Parent or Legal Guardian of player declare that our my / our
son/daughter/grandson/granddaughter/niece/nephew/brother/sister representing or intending to represent the MPCA in any competition tournament
or match SHALL NOT publically comment, discuss, talk, speak, or publish article or act in manner which may bring the Association in disrepute.
An infringement of this rules will entail the forfeiture of my (player self) / my / our son /
daughter/grandson/granddaughter/niece/nephew/brother/sister’s right of being selected for any tournament or match.
iii. I (player self) / We or Me as Parent or Grand Parent or Legal Guardian of player declare that I (player self) / We or me as parent or Grand Parent
or Legal Guardian undersigned that MPCA shall recover the cost of any damages and breakage caused directly or indirectly in the MPCA
provided Hotel or dormitories or special room.
iv. I (player self) / We or Me as Parent or Grand Parent or Legal Guardian of player declare that I (player self) / We or me as parent or Grand Parent
or Legal Guardian understand that me (player self) / my/our son/daughter/grandson/granddaughter/niece/nephew/brother/sister shall be abide by
the MPCA rules and regulations.
v. I (player self) / We or Me as Parent or Grand Parent or Legal Guardian of player declare that me (player self) / my / our
son/daughter/grandson/granddaughter/niece/nephew/brother/sister shall not break any rules and regulation of the MPCA before during and after of
tournament and match and coaching camp.
vi. I (player self) / we or Me as Parent or Grand Parent or Legal Guardian of player declare that me (player self) / my / our
son/daughter/grandson/granddaughter/niece/nephew/brother/sister declare that we have understood rules and regulation of MPCA and selection
procedure and seriousness.
vii. Me (players self) / we as Parent or legal guardian understood that submission of a False / incorrect DOB document is an offence. MPCA or any
committee authorised by Honorary Secretary shall take a legal action or any other action deemed fit to MPCA against me (player self) / parent /
legal guardian.
viii. Also we or me as Parent or Grand Parent or Legal Guardian of player understand the risk of the cricket game and give consent that in case of any
incident happen to me (player self) / my / our son/daughter/grandson/granddaughter/niece/nephew/brother/sister’s during the tournament or match
or camp MPCA shall not be responsible for that. MPCA may provide us support to handle that situation.
ix. I (player self) / We or Me as Parent or Grand Parent or Legal Guardian MPCA have understood above consent.
x. As a parent / Legal Guardian have explained the consent and instructions to my/our son/daughter/grandson/
granddaughter/niece/nephew/brother/sister in local language and they have agreed to follow.
