Business
Description
Overview of the business:
In simpler terms, our business offers customised furniture, decorations,
and fixtures through an on-site and online store for locals to buy.
Business structure:
The business structure is Partnership as it is easy and inexpensive to
form, and allows an equal investment to the success of the business.
Other than that, it is a partnership to utilize the strengths, resources,
and expertise of each partner.
Location:
We are based in Bulacan, Philippines, with websites filled with
information about our products and contact information instead of an
online store. This is to have an easy way to communicate with
customers interested in our customizable furniture.
Products/Services:
The products that we are selling are furniture that can be
customizable, interior decorations to fit your home, and fixtures for
our products within the 12 months warranty.
Market
Research
Target market:
Newlywed Filipino couples, ages 25 and above, and Filipino families who
are looking to personalize their living spaces living near our business
location.
Customers prefer furniture that reflects their tastes and styles with a focus
on customization to fit their specific needs.
Market need:
The demand for custom-made furniture is increasing as more people want
to create personalized home environments.
Our products solve the need for affordable and high-quality furniture that
can be tailored to individual preferences and practicality.
Competition:
Our main competitors are IKEA and Mandaue Foam. IKEA offers a wide
range of furniture but lacks personalization, that's why we are here :)
Mandaue Foam is known for affordability, but we differ with custom
options and a membership program offering perks like discounts and
special services.
Marketing and
Sales Strategy
Marketing strategy:
Given the scope of our business, we plan on advertising through social
media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, to reach our
target audiences. Traditional advertisements, such as billboards and
posters with our ambassadors, may also be done to reach locals without
social media.
Sale strategy:
We will provide online and in-store shopping for customers, though the
in-store experience may be better in terms of personal shopping. The
implementation of a loyalty card or rewards app may bring back
customers for seasonal collections and limited pieces.
Customer Retention:
Similar to our loyalty or rewards program, we will provide member-
exclusive services that bring convenience to their shopping, such as
custom orders, discounts for every other purchase (which may be
recorded through the rewards app), and home services, such as
installation and free delivery.
Operational Plan
Location and Equipment:
We will operate from a street shop large enough to cover
our products. Since our business is going to offer various
kinds of furniture, our store needs to be spacious enough
to fit the different kinds of furniture. This way, customers
will be able to try the furniture themselves to see what’s
suitable for their homes.
Suppliers:
We will purchase materials from suppliers dealing with
plastics, wood, and other essential raw materials. We will
prioritize affordability and quality of the raw materials.
Staffing:

of developing and executing marketing strategies which
will promote our business's products and services in order

financial data, they will be able to help in making wise
decisions when it comes to controlling costs and managing
risks and regulations.

and transactions made with the business. It is essential to
keep track of the things that are going in and out of the
business in order to manage our funds efficiently and
sustainably. These records will also help with decision-making
within our business.
