Getting started
1. Access Meta Business Suite at business.facebook.com

2. Personalize your nav bar. On your nav bar, below ‘All Tools’
select ‘Edit’ and put all the most important tools for your
accounts in one place. To make sure you have access to all
Creator Studio Tools, curate your sidebar to include:

• Content

• Planner

• Insights

• Inbox

• Monetization

• Rights Manager

• Inspiration Hub

• Sound Collection

• Game Streaming

• Licensed Music

3. Locate ‘Content’ ‘Monetization’ ‘Insights’ and ‘Planner’


sections. Those should be your go to for the majority of your
Creator Studio tools.

4. Check ‘All Tools’ if you can’t find what you’re looking for.
Here you can find: Sound Collection, Rights Manager,
Game Streaming, Ads Manager, Inspiration Hub, and more.

Posting and
Scheduling Tools
To create and schedule posts, you’ll want to primarily
use the ‘Home’ and ‘Content’ tabs.

View content for multiple accounts at once:


1. In the upper left of the screen, select multiple accounts
at a time from which to view content from.

Create and schedule a post (video, link post, photo)


to Facebook or Instagram:
1. Make sure you select the account you’d like to be using in the upper
left corner.
2. Click ‘Create Post.’ You can find this either
• In the ‘Home’ tab.
• The upper right corner in the ‘Content’ tab.
• The upper right corner in the ‘Planner’ tab.
3. Upload your photo or video, and complete all the fields.
4. Decide if you’d like to post now or schedule for later.

Add captions, thumbnail, and set the aspect ratio of a video:


1. Create a post and upload a video.
2. Select a thumbnail, create a title, add a description.
3. On this ‘Optimize’ screen you can now add Captions and adjust
the aspect ratio.
4. Hit Publish.

Post simultaneously across your accounts:


1. In ‘Home’ select ‘More’ next to ‘Create Post.’
2. Select ‘Post video across Pages.’
3. When creating the post, select all the accounts you’d like to post
simultaneously to.

See a schedule of upcoming posts:


1. Go to the ‘Planner’ tab to see your full calendar of posts, past,
present, and future.
2. You can view by month or week.
Note: You can also view ‘Scheduled’ posts within the ‘Content’ tab.

Create a Reel for Facebook or Instagram:


1. In the ‘Home’ tab, select ‘Create Reel.’
2. Select which account you’d like to post to, upload your reel, choose
a thumbnail, add a caption, and choose a collaborator if you wish.
3. Crop your reel, add music, and trim it.
4. Schedule your reel for a later time, or publish it now.

Bulk upload videos:


1. In the ‘Home’ tab, select the arrow next to ‘Create’ in the upper
right corner.
2. Select ‘Bulk Upload Videos.’
3. Upload up to 50 videos at once.
4. Edit your videos and schedule to publish by clicking ‘More edit
options’ on the right.

Turn an existing video into a Reel:


1. In the ‘Content’ tab, find the video you’d like to turn into a reel.
2. Click ‘...’ next to ‘Insights.’
3. Select ‘Create reel.’
4. Trim, select your layout, and then hit publish.

Do an A/B test to see what version of a post will perform better:


1. In the ‘Content’ tab, click ‘A/B tests’ in the left nav bar.
2. Click ‘Create A/B test’ and create multiple versions of a post.
3. Select your variants, and then run your test.
4. Come back here to see how the different versions are performing.

Filter your posts


1. Filter by ‘Post Type’ to select what type of video or post you’d
like to see.
2. To see only FB or IG posts, select ‘Filter’ then ‘Placement’ then
you can select between Facebook News Feed, Instagram Feed and/or
Facebook Groups.

Crosspost your content to another account:


There are a few ways to crosspost:
1. First, when creating a post, you can select multiple accounts to post to.
2. In the ‘Content’ tab, under ‘Creative Assets’ in the left nav bar click
the section ‘Videos you can crosspost.’ This will show you available
videos to crosspost. Hit crosspost to publish.
3. In the ‘Content’ tab, select ‘Posts and reels’ from the nav bar. Click ‘...’
next to ‘View Insights’ and click ‘Send crosspost invite.’ Choose where
you’d like to crosspost it to.

Insights
Tools
You can now view your IG and FB insights side by side.
To view your account’s metrics, go to the ‘Insights’ tab.

Look at individual insights on a single video, reel, or post:


1. In the ‘Insights’ tab, select ‘content’ from the left nav bar.
2. See additional metrics by selecting “columns” in the upper right,
and customizing your view.
2. Select ‘View insights’ next to the post or reel.
3. View insights such as reach, engagement, or shares on a post
or reel.
4. View insights on videos such as retention, distribution score,
3 second views, 1 minute views, audience breakdown, minutes

Look at aggregate insights for your accounts across


engagement and audience numbers:
1. In the ‘Insights’ tab, in the left nav bar choose ‘Overview’
‘Results’ or ‘Audience.’
2. Overview will show an overall look at your accounts in terms
of followers, reach and new insights.
3. ‘Results’ will show how you’re doing against overall goals
you’ve set.
4. ‘Audience’ breaks down the age, gender and location of your
audience in total over a certain timeframe.

Look at aggregate insights for your content performance overall.


1. In the ‘Insights’ tab, select ‘Overview’ under ‘Content’
in the left nav bar.
2. View overall insights like total reach and engagement.

Look at aggregate insights for your videos.


1. In the ‘Insights’ tab, go to the video section.
2. Select ‘Performance’ and get metrics such as reach and minutes
viewed.
3. Select ‘Audience’ and see the growth rate of your videos as well
as demographics like age, gender, and location.
4. Select ‘Loyalty’ and see a breakdown of your engaged followers
and returning viewers.
5. Select ‘Retention’ and see the % of viewers coming from your own
followers vs through recommendations, as well as how long people
are watching for.

Benchmark your video performance against accounts similar


to yours. Or benchmark against a specific account:
1. In the ‘Insights>Video’ tab, go to ‘benchmarking’ in the left nav bar.
2. Compare your account to a group of accounts similar to yours,
or compare yourself to another Page.

View Video Earnings Insights


1. In the ‘Video’ section of ‘Insights’ you’ll find ‘Earnings.’
2. Follow your In-Stream Ad earnings and more.

Export your insights so you can share them with your team:
1. Go to the section of the ‘Insights’ tab you want to export,
such as ‘Content’ ‘Performance’ ‘Audience’ and look for
the ‘Export’ button at the top of the screen.

View the ‘Inspiration Hub’ and see what videos are performing
well across the platform:
1. If ‘Inspiration Hub’ isn’t automatically in your left nav bar,
go to ‘All Tools’ and select ‘Inspiration Hub.’
2. See popular posts, reels, and creators relevant to your
audience as well as trending hashtags and songs.

View video performance for multiple accounts at once.


1. Go to any tab within the ‘Video’ section of Insights.
2. In the upper left of the screen, you can now select multiple
accounts at a time from which to view insights from.

Monetization
Tools
To view your monetization violations, payout settings, eligibility,
and access to more monetization tools, you’ll want to primarily
use the ‘Monetization’ tab.

See your video earnings:


1. Go to the ‘Monetization’ tab.
2. In ‘Overview’ you can see an overall look at earnings across
In-stream ads, Stars, and Reels.
3. For a more detailed look at each, select ‘Stars’ ‘In-stream ads’
or ‘Subscriptions’ from the left.

View and appeal monetization violations:


1. Go to the ‘Monetization’ tab.
2. You can see violations either at the top of ‘Overview’ or by selecting
‘Policy Issues’ on the left nav bar.
3. Under ‘Policy Issues’ view both ‘recent violations’ as well as
‘monetization tools.’
4. To appeal policy violations, click on ‘Request another review.’

Set up Monetization Tools (Stars, In-Steam Ads,


or Subscriptions, Bonuses):
1. Go to the ‘Monetization’ tab.
2. Within the ‘Overview’ tab any tool you haven’t set up will be under
‘Tools to Try.’ You can set up your monetization tools from there.

Manage Payout Settings:


1. Within ‘Monetization’ select ‘Payout Settings.’
2. Here you can determine payout accounts, view support articles,
and see payouts.

View monetization performance for multiple accounts at once:


1. In the upper left of the screen, select multiple accounts at a time
from which to view monetization performance from.

See content that matches one of your videos:


1. Go to ‘Rights Manager’ either on the left tab or find it within
the ‘All Tools’ tab.
2. Select ‘Matching Videos.’
3. Here you can see what videos match yours and choose to either
‘Monitor’ ‘Block’ or ‘Takedown.’

View your conflicts, disputes, and appeals:


1. Go to ‘Rights Manager.’
2. Select ‘Action Items’ from the left nav bar.
3. Here you’ll see tabs that include ‘Conflicts’ ‘Disputes’ ‘Appeals’ and
more. Filter within the tab to narrow down what you’re looking for.

View videos that Rights Manager is monitoring in your


reference library:
1. Go to ‘Rights Manager.’
2. Select ‘Reference Library.’
3. Filter to see specific videos.

Customize your match rules to determine how Rights Manager


finds a match:
1. Go to ‘Rights Manager.’
2. Select ‘Match Rules.’
3. Customize how you protect your assets. Build permissions for certain
accounts, set minimums for how much of a post is allowed to overlap with
your own reference file and more.

1. Go to ‘Inbox’ in the left nav bar, or find it within ‘All Tools.’

1. Within ‘All Tools’ select ‘Sound Collection.’
This will open a separate window.
2. Explore tracks and sound effects.

Set up a gaming live stream and interact with followers:


1. Within ‘All Tools’ select ‘Game Streaming.’ From here you can:
