a. For an arithmetic progression, the sum of first five and eleven terms are
respectively 20 and 88. Find
(i) the first term,
(ii) the common difference, and

b. If the population of Botswana is 2.25 million and is increasing at the rate of
4 % per annum, then find
(i) the population after 10 years.

b. Find the nth derivative of the function

(Hints : use the following steps : differentiate first, second and third times and then
