INTERJECTION

An interjection is a word or short phrase used to express


a spontaneous feeling, emotion, or reaction. Interjections
are often used to convey surprise, excitement, happiness,
anger, or any other strong emotion, and they are
typically punctuated with an exclamation mark (!) when
they stand alone. Interjections don't have a grammatical
connection to the rest of the sentence but are essential for
expressing the speaker's emotions or drawing attention.
1. Interjections of Greeting
