ABSTRACT
A Database Management System (DBMS) is a set of computer programs that controls the
creation, maintenance, and the use of a database. It allows organizations to place control of
database development in the hands of database administrators (DBAs) and other specialists. A
DBMS is a system software package that helps the use of integrated collection of data records
and files known as databases. It allows different user application programs to easily access the
same database.
In this Project we created a database for pharmacy management. We created multiple
forms for different entity.

INFORMATION
The term data can be define as a set of isolated and unrelated raw facts with an
implicit meaning. Data can be anything such as, name of person, a number, images, sound
etc. When the data is processed and converted into a meaningful and useful and useful form,
it is known as information. A database can be defined as collection of related data from
which users can efficiently retrieve the desired information.
In this project we created a database with the help of ms-access to manage pharmacy’s all
data. We created this database to manage data more easily and efficiently.

Conclusion
In conclusion, a database is a far more efficient mechanism to store and organize data
than spreadsheets; it allows for a centralized facility that can easily be modified and
quickly shared among multiple users. Having a web based front end removes the
requirement of users having to understand and use a database directly, and allows users to
connect from anywhere with an internet connection and a basic web browser. It also allows
the possibility of queries to obtain information for various surveys. Due to the number of
users reading and modifying student data in the department, it is an ideal use for such a
system.
