Project Management Plan for 7-Day Website Completion

Team Structure

To complete the website within 7 days, we will require a team of 6 members with the following roles:

1. Project Manager (1): Responsible for overall coordination, timeline management, and risk

mitigation.

2. UI/UX Designer (1): Focused on creating and refining the design based on the provided

Figma files.

3. Frontend Developers (2): Responsible for implementing the UI components and

ensuring responsive design.

4. Backend Developer (1): Handles server-side logic, database integration, and API development.

5. Quality Assurance Specialist (1): Ensures the website is bug-free and meets all

functional requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

Project Manager

- Plan and allocate tasks.

- Conduct daily progress meetings.

- Monitor adherence to timeline and milestones.

- Address bottlenecks and unforeseen issues promptly.

UI/UX Designer

- Review the Figma designs and make necessary adjustments.

- Provide all design assets (e.g., images, icons, color palettes).

- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure design fidelity.

Frontend Developers

- Convert Figma designs into responsive HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Ensure cross-browser and device compatibility.

- Integrate frontend components with backend APIs.

Backend Developer

- Implement database schemas and perform data validation.

Quality Assurance Specialist

- Perform functionality testing, usability testing, and regression testing.

- Identify and log bugs in a tracking system.

- Verify fixes and ensure the final product is error-free.

Timeline & Milestones

Day 1: Planning and Setup

- Objective: Ensure the team has a clear understanding of the project requirements and resources.

- Tasks:

➢ Review wireframes and specifications for all pages.


➢ UI/UX Designer prepares assets and confirms design elements.
➢ Backend Developer sets up server and database structure.
➢ Frontend Developers set up project framework (React/HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
➢ Quality Assurance prepares initial test cases for basic components.

Day 2: Homepage Development

Objective: Complete the design and functionality of the homepage.

Day 4: Product Detail Page and Cart Page

- Objective: Finalize product detail and cart functionalities.

- Tasks:

➢ Frontend Developers design the product detail page (images, descriptions, price, reviews).
➢ Backend Developer ensures API support for adding/removing items from the cart.
➢ Cart page developed to show summary, quantities, and calculated totals.
➢ QA tests individual page interactions and navigation.

Day 5: Checkout and Order Tracking Pages

- Objective: Implement payment flow and order tracking system.

- Tasks:

➢ Frontend Developers create the checkout page (form validation, payment integration).
➢ Order tracking page shows order status dynamically.
➢ Backend Developer ensures secure payment processing and order management.
➢ QA focuses on functional testing for the checkout process

Day 6: Admin Dashboard


- Objective: Develop and test the admin dashboard features.
- Tasks:
➢ Backend Developer builds the dashboard APIs for analytics, order management, and customer
reviews.
➢ Frontend Developers design the dashboard with data visualization.
➢ QA tests data accuracy and responsiveness

- Objective: Ensure the entire website is functional, bug-free, and ready for deployment.

➢ Final team review and approval.
