    -Conical hats is an traditional hat for over a hundred year, It was first recognized 300 to 400 year ago,

    they are very popular among craft villages, especially Tay Ho. Tay Ho is famous because it is the
    birthplace of the conical hats in Hue.
    -Conical hats are usually used to prevent you from being wet in rain, hot sunny days and they can also
    be used as a fan. Conical hats are also used in many Vietnamese traditional dances
    -A conical hat is very complicated to make, there are 15 stage of making them, from collecting leaves to
    ironing the the leaves, making the frames… What is special is that they add poems and paintings of Hue
    between the two layers, they are famously known as bai tho or poetic conical hats.
    -Conical hats making are passed down from generation to generation, because everybody, young or old
    can take part in the process, it is a well-known handicraft in Vietnam and all over the world
    -Conical hats is an icon of Vietnamese tradition and handicrafts, it is a symbol to Vietnamese festivals
    and beauty.
