1 Is there a list of applications using OracleJava? A monthly report is provided. The export is available here. Java Inventory Reporting.
Important: his is an extraction based on CMDB, and we're currently in touch with the ITSP team to find
ways to improve it. It’s very important you don’t rely just on this list and proactivity checking your own
systems.
Filter the "META" column for ORACLEJAVA and BOTH. The latter indicates that the specific TI has both
OracleJava and OpenJDK. It's important to remove all traces of OracleJava, as we suspect that some are
present but not in use, which may trigger false positives.
If the case, please make the necessary CMDB adjustments to correctly reflect the SDM.

3 What is the timeline for the migration? The migration must finish by end of Q1 2024. Otherwise inform STOIAN Răzvan
4 What environments are in scope? The entire OracleJava footprint must be removed from all environments
5 Why do we have to get rid of all Oracle Java The slightest deviation from the new policy, even for a single installation, has massive implications at

This is a risk we’re not willing to take thus the decision to remove the entire footprint.
6 Does the request apply to subcontractors. Yes. Subcontractors also have to stop using OracleJava.

7 Must all versions of Oracle JDK be removed? All must be removed:
Above 1.7 because of the new Oracle Java policy (where we have to license the whole company
employees even for only one Oracle Java in use)
Below 1.7 because it’s no longer supported
8 What is the preferred OpenJDK provider? The Wordline standard is RedHat OpenJDK.
9 Do we have to remove all usage of OracleJDK Both have to be removed even if they can be installed separately
or also of Oracle JRE?
