32. The floor of a building consists of 3000 tiles which are


rhombus shaped and each of its diagonals are 45 cm and 30 cm in
length. Find the total cost of polishing the floor, if the cost
per m2is Rs. 4.

A cuboid is of dimensions 60 cm×54 cm×30 cm. How many small


cubes with side 6 cm can be placed in the given cuboid?

33. The price of a TV is ₹ 13,000. The sales tax charged on it is at


the rate of 12%. Find the amount that Vinod will have to pay if he
buys it.

34. Multiply

(i) (6x2-5x + 8) with (2x -3)

(ii) 5a2b2 with (3a2 - 4ab + 6b2)


(iii) 2ab with 2a2b

35. Solve the equation :

(i)5(3 − x) − 2(4 − 3x) = 11 − 2(x − 1)
