Grim looking yet easily overlooked. The pesky thornpike


feasts on small animals that have been lured into its toxic
spikes using wormlike decoys, rarely, but nevertheless
causing significant damage to small livestock. While this
astonishing creature isn’t the most dangerous, adventurers
are still strongly advised to watch their steps, as the
thornpike’s sharp spikes are described as being tough
enough to penetrate even the thickest soles. Though
incidents are usually not fatal, a large group of these
critters may quickly pose a serious threat…
