Crochet pattern "Christmas Tree"
Required Materials
1. Yarn: sport weight/4 ply yarn ( I used YarnArt Jeans , 55%cotton, 45% acrylic,
50g-1.76 Oz/160m-174 yds.)
-69 (green) -51 (red) -70 (brown) -35 (yellow)
2. Crochet hook № 2,0 mm (US B/1, UK: 13)

3. Polyester toy filling (fiberfill)
4. Needle with a blunt end
5. Scissors
6. Sewing pins
7. for the Christmas tree - 8-9 mm sew-on beads,
for a star - 5-6 mm sew-on beads
You may need to use larger eyes, depending on
hook/yarn size.
8. White and black sewing threads , the thin needle
9. Felt fabric white color
10. Fabric glue or glue gun
The size of the finished toy when using

the indicated materials is about Christmas Tree 24 cm ( 9.44 inches)

Skills you need
• Basic-Intermediate crochet, amigurumi and sewing skills.
Abbreviations
ch – chain stitch
sc – single crochet
st/sts - stitch/stitches
inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)
dec – decrease (2 sc together through front loops)
slst - slip stitch
BLO – use only back loops

(….)*N — repeat instruction in brackets N times
(Х) — the number in brackets at the end of each row indicates the total number of stitches /
stitches in the row
Notes
- (1 SC, INC)x6 (18), means that you need to crochet 1 single crochet into 1 stitch, make
increase into next stitch and repeat the sequence mentioned in brackets 6 times. As a result,
you made 18 stitches and finished the round.
- Use a stitch marker or a piece of yarn to mark the end or the beginning of a round. Move
the marker up after completing each round
- All stitches are worked into both loops, unless instructed otherwise in the pattern.
- Make sure to crochet tightly enough to achieve a tight gauge that will not allow the stuffing
to show through the fabric.
- You are welcome to use any yarn. This will affect the toy's size and possibly
proportions. I try to give the description so that you understand why you are making
increases/decreases in this particular place, you can calculate their location in the rounds
by yourself. This is important because everyone has different crochet density, and extra
stitches to the beginning of the round is quite possible.
- Make sure to pick a crochet hook at least a size smaller than suggested on the yarn label
and crochet tightly enough to achieve a tight gauge that will not allow the stuffing to show
through the fabric.
