(sadly)
Guys, I need to tell you something. My family’s moving… to Canada.
Young Mark:
What? No way! When?
Young Tristan:
Next month. It’s for my dad’s job. We have to go.
Young Jericho:
(shocked)
Canada? But we’ve been friends forever! How long will you be gone?
Young Tristan:
I’m not sure… maybe for good. But I promise, one day I’ll come back and we’ll hang out like old
times.
Young Stephen:
(quietly)
It’s not going to be the same without you, man.
Young Tristan:
I know. But no matter how far I go, we’ll always be friends. I’ll come back someday and we’ll have
a reunion, just like this, okay?
(The friends share a group hug, making a silent promise to meet again.)

(Fast forward 10 years later. Mark, Stephen, and Jericho are iin their hometown, catching up after
work. They’re laughing and talking when Mark’s phone suddenly rings. It’s an international call
from Tristan in Canada.)
Mark:
(surprised)
Hey, it’s Tristan! Should I answer?
Jericho:
Of course! Put him on speaker!
Mark:
(picks up the phone and puts it on speaker)
Tristan! Long time, bro. What’s up?
Tristan (over the phone):
Hey guys! Guess what—I’ve got some exciting news.
Stephen:
What's going on?
Tristan (over the phone):
I’m finally coming back to the Philippines! I’m taking a vacation, and I’m coming to visit all of you.
After all these years, it’s time for our reunion.
Jericho:
(excited)
No way! Seriously? Dude, when are you arriving?
Tristan (over the phone):
Next week! I already have my ticket booked. I can’t wait to see you guys again. It’s been too long.
Mark:
Finally! We’ll show you around and remind you what you’ve been missing all these years.
Philippine food, beaches, everything!
Stephen:
It’s going to be great, Tristan. We’ve all been waiting for this.
Tristan (over the phone):
I’m counting the days. See you all soon!
Scene 3: Arrival in the Philippines
(The scene cuts to the airport a week later. Mark, Stephen, and Jericho are waiting for Tristan
They’re holding a homemade sign that reads "Welcome Home, Tristan!" with big smiles on their
faces. looking around, and his eyes light up when he sees his friends. Tristan Walks up to them
and grabs their hands while mark’s nephew bless to tristan which made him strartled and
confused.
Tristan:
(grinning)
There you guys are!
Mark:
(runs up and gives Tristan a big hug)
Bro, you’re finally here! How does it feel to be back in the Philippines?
Tristan:
It feels… amazing. I can’t believe it’s been 10 years. Everything looks so familiar, but at the same
time, different.
Jericho:
We’ve got a lot to catch up on, man. This country has changed, but the food’s still as good as
ever. Speaking of which, we’re taking you straight to our favorite karinderya (local eatery). You
must be starving after that flight!
Stephen:
And after that, we’ve got a whole tour planned for you. Beaches, city spots, and a trip down
memory lane.
Scene 4: Exploring Filipino Culture
(The next scene shows the four friends visiting some of their childhood hangout spots. They walk
through the local market, grab snacks, and reminisce. Tristan, having been away for so long, is
overwhelmed with nostalgia as he sees places they used to go. They stop at a street food stall
where Tristan hesitates to try balut (fertilized duck egg), a popular delicacy.)
Tristan:
(eyeing the balut nervously)
Okay, I remember this… but I’ve never been brave enough to try it.
Mark:
Come on, man! You can’t say you’re back home until you’ve had balut! It’s a rite of passage.
Jericho:
(teasing)
What’s the worst that can happen? You’ve survived 10 years in Canada—this is nothing.
Stephen:
It’s part of the experience, Tristan. You’ve got to give it a shot. We’re all doing it with you.
(They all crack open their balut eggs, and Tristan reluctantly takes a bite. The friends cheer him
on, laughing as he finally eats it.)
Tristan:
(laughing and grimacing at the same time)
Okay, okay! Not bad. I can’t believe I’m doing this.
Mark:
Welcome back to the Philippines, bro!
Scene 5: Beach Getaway and Reflection
(The friends are now at a beach resort, lounging by the water after a day of swimming. They’re
sitting around a bonfire at night, listening to the waves. The mood is peaceful and reflective as
they talk about their lives and the time they’ve spent apart.)
Tristan:
I’ve missed this—the sound of the ocean, the warmth, everything about home. Canada’s great,
but nothing beats the Philippines.
Jericho:
We’ve missed you too, man. It’s been strange without you here, but it’s like no time has passed
when we’re together again.
Stephen:
Yeah, it’s like we just picked up where we left off. Even though things have changed, the
friendship is the same.
Tristan:
It’s funny… living in Canada has taught me so much about other cultures, but coming back here
reminds me that home is where your roots are. I may have been gone for years, but this place
will always be a part of me.
Mark:
And we’ll always be your brothers, no matter how far you go.
Tristan:
(smiling)
I’m just glad we finally kept our promise to reunite. Here’s to more memories—whether they’re
here, in Canada, or anywhere else in the world.
(The friends raise their glasses, toasting to their bond, which has remained strong despite the
distance and time.)
Scene 6: Departure and Goodbye
(The final scene takes place back at the airport. Tristan is about to head back to Canada after
spending a few weeks in the Philippines. The friends are all there, hugging and saying their
goodbyes.)
Tristan:
I’ll miss you guys. But this time, I won’t wait another 10 years to come back. We’ll keep in touch,
and who knows—next time, you guys come to Canada!
Jericho:
We’ll hold you to that! And don’t worry, we’ll visit. I’m ready to experience the snow!
Mark:
Take care of yourself, bro. And remember, no matter where you are, this will always be home.
Stephen:
Until next time, Tristan. We’re always here for you.
Tristan:
(smiling as he waves goodbye)
Until next time, guys. I’ll see you soon.
(The scene fades out as Tristan walks through the airport, waving back at his friends, feeling the
warmth of home in his heart as he boards his flight back to Canada.)
