TICON Integration with Active Workspace.

 TiCon software solutions are the ideal platform for product and manufacturing process
planning.
 Ticon is Developed by MTM(Manufacturing time and motion).
 It can be integrated with all different PLM as well PDM application Modules based on
Module planning.

TICON-Base:
 creation, structured maintenance and further use of MTM analyses
 analyzing while using several MTM building block systems, formulas and multi-level
calculations

TICON-Generation:
 creation of parameter driven and semiautomatic MTM calculations.
 reduction of calculation efforts in large use cases.

TICON Takt:
 synchronization of assembly lines.
 movement of work contents between workers and stations via drag and drop.
 permanent updates of changing workloads and line efficiency in case of data changes.

TICON HWD:
 engineering Human Work Design (MTM-HWD).
 description of workflows via pictograms.
 evaluation of time, ergonomics and eHPU (engineered Hours Per Unit).

TICON EAWS:

TICON Time Study:


 processing, administration and evaluation of time studies according to REFA.
 Is carried out by means of a TICON connected mobile app.
 all common mobile operating systems are supported.
 use of the acquired data in TICON.

TICON Integration:
 Run tem.bat as administrator.
 Select Configuration Manager and click Next.

 Select Performance on an existing configuration.


 Select Add/Remove Features.

 In Feature Selection Pannel Browse to following Location and select and select feature_mtm.xml

 Then Select MTM feature as shown in Features.


 Then Do media Verification.

 Provide Teamcenter Administrative credentials.

 Click on Start.
 Installation Successful.

Importing MTM-License:
 Run Teamcenter command-prompt as admin.

 Change Directory to License location.

 Run import_tic on_license.bat and give it the license file (e.g. ticon-tc 12-ep211-
unlimited.lic ) as a parameter, confirm by pressing Enter.

 From This Page from Active-Workspace you can confirm License Validation.

 Importing Elemental Configuration modules which are in the format of tcxml.

 Run tc command-prompt and change disk location to following folder structure.


 Run Execute installMtmData.bat with the parameters <Username> <Password> <site-id>
TiCon Administration:

 In the TiCon administration menu general settings for the TiCon for Teamcenter environment can
be made. All settings are saved in the database, so that they are available for users without
restarting or refreshing the website.

 To start the TiCon Administration you have to enter ticon_admin after the web link in the
address line.
 https://<hostname>:3000/#/ticon_admin.

Coding Schemas
 In TiCon for Teamcenter for each element configuration can be deposited a coding schema. The
coding schema is included in the company-specific coding system and obliges the user to a clean
element coding.

 A coding schema is unambiguously identified by its code. In the table code


components, coding and value sets are assigned for the necessary number of code
positions. The user can use only predefined coding’s on the corresponding code
position.
