Guided by the core values of Leadership, Competence, Excellence, and Fortitude, Dr.
Ruby Lanting-Casaul Educational Foundation, Inc. aims to produce creative, innovative
graduates empowered with cognitive, technical, and practical skills fitted to various
professional sectors’ norms and standards of quality service, understand and
appropriately respond to its stakeholders’ needs in accordance to the intent and spirit of
their requirements and at the end contribute to the economic sustainability and social
development of the country and the rest of the world.

Best practices

 Clear Mission and Vision: Lanting Casaul College have developed a clear and
compelling mission and vision that align with the school’s core values and strategic
goals.

 Implemented a comprehensive communication: keep all the members of school to


be informed about changes and development.

 Well maintained facilities: the facilities are always clean.

 Well organized programs and activities: the execution of programs and activities are
smooth.

 Blended learning: combining traditional classroom method with online resources


and tools.

 Special education program: providing support for students with special needs.

 Students are properly accommodated by the organization.

Obstacles:

 Lack of technological equipment


 Regular assessment: to monitor the process and programs to identify areas for
improvement.

 Adaptability of facilities: some of the facilities must be upgraded to adapt into


different factors such as equipment, weather, and other needs of students and
staffs.

 Lack of monitoring security: lack of CCTV to monitor the school.

Suggestions for Improvement

Improving the school's covered court and computer lab can significantly enhance the
students' experience and learning opportunities.

Facilities

 Covered Court

- Resurfacing and Markings: Ensure the court surface is smooth, non-slip, and has
clear, durable markings for various sports.

- Lighting: Install high-quality, energy-efficient LED lighting for evening use and better
visibility during cloudy days.

- Weatherproofing: Add windbreaks or side panels that can be lowered during bad
weather to ensure the court can be used year-round.

- Seating and Shade: Provide shaded seating areas for spectators and resting players.

- Equipment Storage: Create secure storage spaces for sports equipment to keep the
court tidy and organized.

- Multi-Sport Capabilities: Equip the court with versatile, adjustable equipment (like
basketball hoops that can be raised/lowered, nets for volleyball, etc.) to support multiple
sports.

 Computer Lab Enhancement

- Up-to-Date Hardware: Ensure all computers are modern, with fast processors, ample
RAM, and SSD storage to support current software needs.

- Software and Tools: Install the latest educational software and tools, ensuring they are
relevant to the curriculum and help students develop essential skills.
- Ventilation and Cooling: Ensure the lab has proper ventilation and air conditioning to
keep the environment comfortable and the equipment from overheating.

 Library Enhancement

- Ventilation enhancement in library to ensure for comfortable studying.

- Highlight unique features and resources of school in the library.

LEARNING

 More practical, interactive and project based learning.

- Active Participation: Interactive learning keeps students actively involved, which


increases their engagement and motivation to learn.

world scenarios, making the learning process more meaningful and relevant to students.

knowledge, which deepens their understanding and retention of the subject matter.

solve problems, fostering a deeper comprehension of complex concepts.

 Offer additional tutoring and academic support for struglling student.

- Interactive Learning Materials: Engaging students through varied instructional methods


to reinforce understanding.

- Small Group Tutoring: Creating small groups for students with similar needs to foster
collaborative learning.

- Regular Progress Monitoring: Conducting regular assessments to track progress and

elaborate the lesson more efficiently.

school using the technologies. It is also one of the preference of students to go to
school that is adaptive to technologies.

 Adequate supply of essential items like soap, toilet paper, and hand soap.

- Adequate supplies of essential items contribute to the overall health and well-being of
students, faculty, and staff.

- Feeling clean and comfortable in restroom facilities can positively impact morale and
productivity.

- Availability of essential items in school bathrooms ensures that students have access
to basic necessities, which can reduce discomfort and distractions during the school
day.

 Installation of CCTV cameras

- Knowing that campus is equipped with CCTV surveillance can provide peace of mind
to students, faculty, and parents, especially during times of heightened security
concerns.

- It creates a sense of security and confidence in the school's commitment to safety and
protection.

- During events or gatherings on campus, CCTV cameras can help monitor crowd
movements and ensure the safety of attendees.

- In the event of emergencies such as fires, accidents, or security threats, cameras can
assist in coordinating responses and evacuations.
