after searching more topics for our microproject finally we select E-Waste
Management
2. https://www.slideshare.net/slideshow/electronic-waste-management
E-waste management is the process of safely disposing of and recycling electronic
waste, such as old computers and smartphones. It aims to reduce environmental
pollution caused by hazardous materials like lead and mercury. Effective
management also promotes resource recovery, conserves natural resources, and
protects public health and ecosystems for future generations.
3. https://www.slideshare.net/slideshow/electronic-waste-management Advantages of
E-Waste Management
Environmental Protection : Reduces pollution by properly disposing of
hazardous materials like lead and mercury.
Energy Conservation : Recycling e-waste often requires less energy than
producing new materials.
Disadvantages of E-Waste Management
High Costs : Setting up and maintaining recycling facilities can be expensive.
Complexity : The process of sorting and recycling e-waste can be complicated
and requires specialized knowledge.
8. https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/electronic-waste-(e-waste) E-
waste poses several problems for humans, including:
Computers
Televisions
VCRs
Stereos
Copiers, and
Fax machines
We began our microproject journey by exploring various potential topics and analyzing them
for relevance and feasibility.
After careful consideration, we selected "E-waste management " as our focus. I engaged in
detailed discussions with my team members to deepen our understanding of this critical
issue.
To gather essential information, we conducted in-depth research on the causes, effects, and
solutions related to E-waste management .
Recognizing the need for alignment with curriculum guidelines, we sought approval for our
chosen topic from our subject teacher.
We searched about e-waste management related information for our microproject for
Literature Review .
Throughout the project, we proactively sought guidance from our teacher to navigate any
challenges that arose. After incorporating feedback,
we crafted a comprehensive microproject report that presented our findings clearly and
effectively
Finally, we ensured that both the project and the report were properly formatted and ready
for submission in a soft copy, typically in PDF format.
This process not only enhanced our knowledge of environmental pollution but also
strengthened our research and teamwork skills.
