We pray for your blessings with all humility – give us the wisdom to make this

country a better place. To evoke feelings of patriotism and remind you of the
nation’s glory and beauty, I request you all to stand up in respect to our national
anthem.

The sparkle of fire is the witness of your worth, the silent

flounce of the water is the witness of your softness. The rising
of the sun in the east and the sunset in the west is the witness
of your rhythm, rhythmical movement of the moon is the
witness of your perfection. My words, my soul are the witness
of oneness of glory Allah whose glorification cannot be
described in words.
O merciful God, when nobody could be for me, you were there. When my life was
destroyed, you lifted me up. When I was tormented and hurt, you set me free.

Because he lives I can face tomorrow

Because he lives all fear is gone
Because I know He holds the future, and life is worth living just because He lives.

Assalamualaikum and a very good morning

To begin the program I call upon rimna for recitation of holy

verses of Qur’an.
Honorable deputy school heads, esteemed principal, venerated
jury of judges, respected teachers and my dear friends. I talbiya
and sarah class 7 pink , host for this session warmly welcome
you all on behalf of the Educators. Furthermore, I thank you all
on behalf of organizer of program for gracing the event with
your pleasing presence. It’s really encouraging and
overwhelming for our wee effort. It has shoot up our morale.
This program titled “English Speech and Debate contest” is an
initiative of our school to impart public speaking skills in us so
that we can compete with the world and be able to talk
confidently and head to head with those who deem us
educationally inferior.
I strongly assure you that this program will be life changing
experience and a source of great inspiration, insight and yes for
sure joy for us all. I believe that you are all curious to witness
these performances. Let me proceed and lift the curtains and
show you the beauties of our school.
Our first speaker of the day is sister sara of 2 red standard.
Albert Einstein was once asked, “What is special in you”?
He replied, “I have no special talents I am just passionately
curious”.
Curiosity……. A trait of all great men….beginning of all
sciences and great gift to students.
To know more comprehensively let’s welcome Fatima 2 red on
stage to give her talk.
Did curiosity ring any bell? Yes it must have. Be curious, be
great.
Our students have brilliant qualities and talents to show it to you. Without waiting
put your hands together for student of class 3 red to be present on the stage and
show you her talent.
Now you will witness another sensational performance by rudainah student of
class 2 red
Now I m going to call Abeera komal to present her thoughts.
In all debates, let the truth be thy aim, not victory, or an unjust interest.” – William Penn
Today, we have with us some brilliant students who will take part in the de’bate competition and
share their views on the given topic “social media is making us less social. It is going to be exciting
to see what points they are going to put forth in favour of and against the topic. The contest is
among the students of class 6 and 7

Every debate competition is going to have some rules and regulations, before we start, let me read
out the rules of the competition.

1. Speeches should not be under three minutes or over four minutes. One point will be deducted
for every fifteen seconds over or under the time limit.
2. Statements that might be interpreted as slanderous, insulting or propagating gender, cultural,
religious or racial stereotypes should not be used in this competition.
3. No new constructive arguments are allowed to be introduced during the rebuttal period.
4. The decision of the judges will be final and must be respected.

I hope all the participants will abide by the rules.”

First constructive speech will be by affirmatives.

Now we will have second constructive speech by negatives.

Scintillating thoughts, mind baffling arguments, impressive

information. This debate might have really agitated your
thoughts. The debaters team I am sure have put the jury in fix.
Let’s proceed forward.

Our next speaker is Muteen Shah of 9th standar

It is said that don’t keep your dreams in your eyes. They may
fall as tears. Keep them in your heart so that every heartbeat
may remind you of those dreams.

To speak on topic dreams I call upon Muteen.

Areeba of grade 9th orange is going to give next talk on the topic

Now I would like to conclude this session with a poem Beast

that eats love by Mr. Asif Sultan
It is the beast that eats goodness

Leaves man in guilt and deep distress

It is the snake that sucks all love

No relation sees it’s so ruthless,

Venom it spreads in affable blood

Turns it bitter and affectionless

Faith it is that taints your pure love

Loathsome it makes your great beingness

Folks cluster around to a living heart

And the one who shouts is the one heard less

Brave is not one who wrestles men down

But the one who waits it’s vent suppress

Anger, berserk horse that failures ride

Rein it too firm and veer to success.

Now, l think we are all ready for the beginning of this competition. So, let me call on stage our first
speaker for the day from class 6 red, Fatima Zahoor. Please put your hands together and give her a
huge round of applause.

I don’t regret the things I have done. I regret the things I did not do when I had
the chance, but indeed, never fear to start again because this time you are not
starting from scratch but from experience.

Now I see the 2nd speaker is ready and looking to have enthusiastic to come on
the stage. Please give Ms a big hand to come on the stage.

That was wonderful. You performed really well. Now, I would like to call the next speaker, Inzish of 6
red, on the stage. Please give her a huge round of applause.”

Now friends, this is the time we acknowledge the talent of our position holders,
the position holders who have been struggling, and facing many challenges and
difficulties to be pioneers. In fact, that’s all because of their own perseverance,
constancy, and immovability that they are selected as champion. Friends to
felicitate the prize of position holders I would like to call the great personality
(insert the name here) to come on the stage to distribute the award of position
holders, please give him/her a big hand.

“A huge thank you to our judges for distributing the prizes. Thank you, Sir/ Ma’am. I would also like
to tell the participants that all of you did amazing and all of you are winners in your own right,
irrespective of whether you won a prize or not. Thank you for your amazing performance. Can we
have a round of applause for all the participants? Yes.”

“And with that, it is now time to say goodbye to you all. Thank you for attending this event and
making it successful. Thank you for your time, encouragement and support. I would like to especially
thank our Principal and our chief guests for taking time out for this event from their busy schedules.
