DAY 1
Good day Tourists!
Welcome to the “Fruit Basket of Mindanao’’ the Province of Cotabato of seventeen Municipalities and one city with five hundred forty-three (543) legally created barangays, with Kidapawan city as its capital. While Cotabato City is the primary trade and commercial center for all of Southwestern Mindanao. Rice, corn, coconuts, sugarcane, coffee and bananas are grown in the region transportation facilities include a minor interisland port & airport. I am Joseph, your tour guide for today. And now let’s see and experience the hidden beauty of Cotabato Province I would like to introduce to you our captain for today, Mr. Rolly Patual, he has 10 years’ experience of driving and he will make sure that he will conduct a safe and happy trip for us. Are you ready and excited? So, before we start our tour, let’s have a prayer first (pray) and now let’s do the headcount (1,2,3…) (and now) we’re all 10, so thank you for your cooperation. And by the way I would like to remind all of you our friendly reminders. First, do not leave your valuable things unattended. Second, please put your trash in a proper disposal. Third, please do always wear your ID’s while inside the van during on travel please avoid putting your hands outside. As you noticed I have a whistle and three flags with me, if you hear me whistle once and waving this pink flag, it means you can go and explore the place, if you hear me whistle twice in waving this purple flag it means photo taking for 20 minutes and if you hear thrice and waving this yellow flag you should stop and pay attention as we have to go back in the vehicle for our next destination. You’ve paid 6,500 each of you tourists, right? Well, it was included there your foods, snacks, tour guide fee, gasoline, accommodation, entrance fee for this tour. In terms of itinerary our assembly area was in Cotabato terminal then we bring you to Mang Gorio (Bahay Kainan) for your breakfast, after we will go to the Grand Mosque, PC Hill and stop for lunch at La Hitopia, after lunch we will visit Bangsamoro Museum, People’s Palace Nova Hotel for dinner and first night stay there. On our day two, we’ll traveling Early going to Alamada, stop for breakfast at Enriquez Restaurant after having breakfast, prepare yourselves on our way to Asik-Asik Falls Of course, there’s a perfect place for lunch at late afternoon. Back to Alamada and chicken to Emily’s Pension House for overnight stay. For our third day, also get up early for Lake Agco, drop at Penong’s Seafood and Grill for breakfast, after lake Agco, we’ll proceed to Paniki falls and stop for lunch at Alfonso’s Ridge restaurant, Rest for a while and experience the adventure in Paniqui cave, Last destination for day three would be Park Land Suites in Kidapawan, have fun and chill and of course, stay for a night. For our 4 th day, still in Park Land suites restaurant for breakfast and since our last day fall on Sunday, we have to go to church first at our Lady Mediatrix of all Grace Cathedral after some prayers and protection, and the last destination at Kidapawan public market for fruit souvenirs. Okay, before traveling to our first destination, let’s have first a head count 1.2. 3.. and we’re all complete including me and our captain. OK tourists, let’s explore Cotabato City and Cotabato Province. We will start here at Grand Mosque, rising on five-hectare prime land in Cotabato City, The Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Masjid Is the largest mosque in the Philippines. This majestic Islamic landmark for worship features fourteen majestic gold domes and four minarets soaring Up to 40 meters high. Let’s go and have photo with the majestic mosque. (Whistle 3x) It’s up for the mosque and proceed Did the old City Hall. And we are here! Old Cotabato City Hall Museum is a city Museum fronting Rizal Park Plaza in Cotabato, Philippines. The structure was built in 1940’s as the Municipal Hall of Former Municipality of Cotabato also served as the visitors Information Center. Let’s go inside and experience one of the oldest Hall in Mindanao. Now, it’s time to discover P.C. Hill It’s a kilometer away from the old city hall. Pedro Colina Hill is one of the two prominent elevated area in Cotabato. Over 100 houses painted with bright and lively colors of the rainbow with a torch of painted accent such as crabs, gongs and the guinakit-the symbol of Cotabata City. Okay, tourist you may take photos with the colored houses up hill. (Whistle 3x) Times up!! lunchtime. Welcome to La Hitopia. Enjoy your lunch everyone. Next spot would be Bangsamoro Museum. I will give you some details of the museum. It is known as a treasure trove of historical artifacts, located at the Shariff Kabunsuan Cultural Complex. Let’s go and discover the history of Cotabato. Our next destination is the new City Hall of Cotabato City. It is also called as the People’s Palace. The seat of the Cotabato City government Is also popular tourist destination due to its Moro-inspired architecture. Let’s go and experience the richness of Moro-cultures. Time is up. Let’s have our dinner at Novo Hotel and sleep for a night. How’s your trip for today? Are you enjoying? It’s time to retire its 10 in the evening and I will call you up by 4:00 AM. for our travel going to Alamada. Good morning, tourists It’s our second day. You may pack up all your things… Before we move to Alamada Let’s have headcount first 1.2.3... and we’re complete (on our way to Alamada). We’re here at Enriquez Restaurant. You may enjoy your breakfast tourists. Okay, it’s time to step up the 750 stairs going to Asik-Asik but before you experience the 750 steps let me deliver first something about Asik-Asik. It is literally mean “Sprinkle” in the native Hiligaynon language. It is aptly called since it sprinkles cold water as it drops into the shallow rock pool at the base of the mountain. Wow! We are here…. Are you ready to swim? You can stay longer because we prepare Boodle fight lunch under the falls. How’s your lunch tourists? (Whistle 3x) It’s three o’clock in the afternoon It’s time to get back to proper alameda for our overnight stay in Emily’s pension house and of course, the dinner is already prepared there. Good morning, tourists. This is our third day tour here in Cotabato Province. How’s was your sleep last night guys? I know you were tired from Asik-Asik…. Ha ha ha At least your experience those 750 steps. Well, anyway, our next destination will be Lake Agco. But I have to count you first 1.2.3… And we’re complete. (On our way to Lake Agco) Tourists, Let’s drop here at Penong’s Seafood Grill for our breakfast. Time check. It’s 8:00 AM in the morning and it’s time to move to experience this steaming hot lake which sulfuric mud is used for the mud spa apply by the Manobos On the visitors who would like to try it along with the natural steam and hat bath. And I want all of you to experience this. (Whistle once) Okay everyone, you only have one hour here. (Whistle 3x) It’s up everybody back to the vehicle for we get a transfer quickly to Paniki Falls for photo taking since we are running out of time. (After paniki falls) We’re here at Alfonso’s Ridge Restaurant for our launch you may enjoy and be satisfied…. Okay, time check It’s 1:30PM time to visit Paniqui Cave located in Barangay Balabag. It is natural Marvel named after the bats that called it home. Exploring this cave grants visitors, the opportunity to witness the stunning beauty of stalactites and stalagmites. Let’s go… (Whistle 3x). Okay guys, Let’s check in At Park Land Suites for our dinner awaits there and some drinks. Let’s chill the night before we sleep. Good morning, tourists. How is your night? This is our 4 th day of our day of our trip in Cotabato Province And since today is Sunday, we have a quick drop. Our Lady of Mediatrix Of all Grace Cathedral offers some prayers, Candle lighting before we proceed to Kidapawan Public Market for souvenirs specially fruit like durian.
