OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Filling up the posts in the Competition Appellate Tribunal purely on

deputation basis

1. The Competition Appellate Tribunal, Ministry of Corporate

Affairs, invites applications for filling up of the following posts purely
on deputation basis. These are:

2 The details of the posts along with eligibility criteria required for
each category of post are given in annexure-I. The appointment will be
made on deputation basis initially for a period of one year which may be
extended further and will be governed by the terms and conditions of
deputation prescribed by the Department of Personnel and Training,
Government of India, in this regard as amended from time to time. The
maximum age limit for appointment on deputation basis shall be 56
years on the closing date of application. The Competition Appellate
Tribunal reserves the right not to fill up any or all the above posts.

3. The application in prescribed Performa, (Annexure-II) complete in

all respects may be sent to Shri Ashok Menon, Registrar of the
Competition Appellate Tribunal at the aforesaid address through
proper channel latest by Thrusday, the 30th September, 2010. However,
the candidate may forward advance copy of the application to Registrar
of this Tribunal.

4. The candidates who apply to this Tribunal through proper

channel to any of the aforesaid post will not be allowed to withdraw
their candidature subsequently.

5. This may kindly be given wide publicity. This circular can also be
seen on website of the Competition Appellate Tribunal
www.compat.nic.in and the application form can be downloaded
therefrom.
