Impact of Artificial Intelligence on SHS Students
Title
The theory and development of computer systems that are able to perform tasks that typically
require human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and
language translation, is referred to as “artificial intelligence,” according to the dictionary. The goal
of the study is to learn more about how artificial intelligence affects seniors in high school.
According to Gorriz et al., artificial intelligence (AI) is being touted as a tool that can be used to
improve and advance all aspects of our lives and is now pervasive in the lives of citizens living in
the twenty-first century. 2020). The use of AI has piqued a lot of interest in higher education, which
is heavily influenced by the growth of information and communication technologies (Alajmi et al.,
2020). Language education is one area where artificial intelligence (AI) is utilized (Liang et al.,
2021), education in engineering (Shukla et al., 2019), medical education (Winkler-Schwartz et al.,
2021), and education in mathematics (Hwang & Tu, 2021). 2019). With the capacity to investigate
information on understudy execution and inclinations, artificial intelligence can assist instructors
with making redid illustration plans and evaluations that line up with every understudy’s
extraordinary assets and shortcomings. Student motivation and engagement may rise as a result,
and academic performance may improve as a result. The students are questioned by the
researchers about how artificial intelligence affects their study. The research employs
phenomenology, a qualitative method that examines non-numerical data in depth and makes use
of interview and observation notes. respondents is purposely selected they have characteristics
that the researchers need in our research, those who are using AI system in Turac National High
School, a public school in San Carlos City Pangasinan. The researchers conducted semi-
structured interview to capture how the participants perceive the AI system. The researchers seek
to find out the impact of using artificial intelligence to the students and they found out that the AI is
some hepl for some students struggling to get the answer or how to do or find the solution for their
study.
