1.0 Purpose:
To describe the procedure for cleaning of Sampling /Dispensing Aids.
2.0 Scope:
2.1. This procedure is applicable to the utensils, scoops and spoons used for dispensing
and sampling activities.
2.2. Dispensing and Sampling aids/tools shall be cleaned immediately after usage.
3.0 Responsibility:
3.1. Warehouse Officer for following the procedure.
3.2. Warehouse Executive /designee for implementation of this procedure.
3.3. QA personnel for compliance to this procedure.
4.0 EHS Precautions (If any):
4.1. Wet floors can cause accidents.
4.2. Wear hand gloves to avoid coming in direct contact with the material.
5.0 Definitions:

6.0 Procedure:
6.1. Sampling/Dispensing tools after use shall be transferred in closed polybag to wash
area.
6.2. Sampling/Dispensing tools (SS utensils, scoops and spoons) shall be cleaned with jet
of potable water to remove adhered residues followed by drying with compressed air.

6.3. Stubborn residues shall be cleaned by scrubbing with nylon scrubber dipped in 0.1%
SLS solution followed by rinsing with jet of potable water to remove detergent
residues.
6.4. Dry with compressed air followed by mopping with 70% IPA solution.
6.5. Transfer into poly bag and affix” cleaned “ staus label and store in a designated area.
