Instructions On How To Use Tumbler Wrap Templates

Foreward: Seeing a blank rectangle or square when you open the template files? You're not crazy; that IS the
template. To preface: these are BLANK templates, intended to accept a new design of your creation. Be it a
pattern, color, or something else entirely! Create and apply your design in an appropriate editing software
first, replacing the generic color we used to fill the shape, before printing it out.

Step 1: Import the template into an editing program of your choice.

 If you are using Silhouette Studio or Cricut, the SVG file is ideal for import. If you experience issues with
that, try the DXF file next.
o Silhouette Studio and Cricut tend to resize the files on their own. Use the information from the
Measurements File included in your download packet to resize the image accordingly.
 If you are using Photoshop, GIMP, or similar image editing software, the PNG or JPG is recommended,
user’s choice which.
 The PDF file is included to round out all the big file types that may be used for template printing.
Step 2: Create your design!
 You can use the fill tool to swap the default color to a new one of your choosing.
o NOTE: There are no outlines on this template. It’s highly advised to have some form of
background color or pattern to replace the default we put on the template to maintain the
correct size & shape.
 Any image editing program will allow you to apply your own designs and patterns.
o Photoshop, GIMP, Silhouette Studio, Cricut, the Adobe Suite, even Microsoft Paint could be
used, if you’re so inclined.
 Keep the design within the size and shape of the template.
o Deviation may result in the wrap not fitting the tumbler correctly.

Step 3: Print & Apply the template to the tumbler. Be sure that the print is true to size so the measurements
to correctly wrap around the tumbler are maintained.
 Refer to the measurements file to confirm the expected sizes.
o Be sure whatever you’re printing the template on is big enough to handle the measurements of
the wrap template.
 The Seamless templates should have either no overlap at the seam or a very small amount of overlap.
 The Overlap templates should have a small overlap at the seam.
