3.1 HYPOTHESIS 1: TECHNICAL TERMS ASSOCIATED WITH ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION

The study examines, Environmental education plays a crucial role in

shaping individuals' understanding of ecological issues and promoting
sustainable behaviors. One statistical tool commonly used in environmental
education research is the Wilcoxon Signed-rank test. This test is a non-
parametric test used to compare the means of paired samples or repeated
measures, making it a valuable tool for researchers working with data collected
over time or from related samples.

The results of a Wilcoxon Signed-rank test in environmental education

research, researchers must consider both the statistical significance of the
findings and the practical implications for their work. A statistically significant
result indicates that the intervention had a measurable impact on participants, but
it is essential to consider the size of this effect and whether it is practically
significant in the context of environmental education goals
3.2 HYPOTHESIS 2: CONFIDENCE AND DESIRE TO ENGAGE IN ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION

The study says, the Wilcoxon signed-rank test is a valuable tool for
evaluating the impact of environmental education programs on participants'
attitudes and behaviors towards the environment. By testing hypothesis related
to confidence and willingness to engage in sustainable practices, researchers
can gain a better understanding of the effectiveness of these programs and make
informed decisions about how to improve them. Ultimately, the results of such
studies can contribute to the development of more impactful and successful
environmental education initiatives.
The result of non-parametric test is suitable for analyzing paired data that
do not meet the assumptions of a parametric test, such as the t-test. In the
context of environmental education, the Wilcoxon signed-rank test can be used
to compare participants' confidence and desire to engage in environmental
practices before and after participating in an educational program.
3.3 HYPOTHESIS 3: Change in Awareness of Abilities Due to the Lesson

The study examined that self-efficacy lessons were effective in improving

participants' self-esteem. This has important implications for educators
and professionals working in fields where self-awareness is key to success, such as
counseling, therapy or personal development. By including lessons that focus on ability
awareness, educators and practitioners can empower people to recognize their strengths
and talents, which leads to better outcomes and overall well-being.
The results of the Wilcoxon Signed-rank Test on the change in awareness of
abilities due to lessons support the effectiveness of lessons in enhancing individuals'
self-awareness. Future research could explore the long-term effects of these lessons on
participants' self-perception and investigate the specific mechanisms through which
these lessons impact awareness of abilities.

CONCLUSION

The Case Study titled “Change in Knowledge and Awareness in Teacher Education on Sayotama
Environmental learning: Through a Blend learning Spaces, Method, and Media“ investigates the
impact of lessons on Sayotama environmental education for undergraduate students training to be
educators.

1. Knowledge of Technical Terms: The lessons positively influenced

students’ knowledge of technical terms related to Satoyama
environmental education.
2. Confidence and Desire: Students’ confidence and desire to engage
in environmental education increased after participating in the lessons.
3. Awareness of Abilities: The lessons improved students’ awareness
of their own abilities, which is crucial for effective teaching in
environmental education.

The study employed a blend of inquiry-based learning using ICT tools and
experiential learning. Inquiry-based learning helped students understand
underlying environmental concepts from a global perspective, while
experiential learning encouraged local engagement with the environment
and the development of teaching skills. Overall, the blended learning
environment provided rich content, easy accessibility, effective guidance and
motivation.
