Symptom

When logging into SAP Business One an error message is displayed:

"There is a problem with the server's security certificate. The security certificate is not from a trusted
certifying authority. SAP Business One is unable to connect to the server."

Reproducing the issue

The Operating System of the SAP Business One client is Microsoft Windows 10
Logon to SAP Business One 9.1 PL09, SAP Business One 9.1 PL09, version for SAP HANA, or lower
versions

Cause

Usage of a SAP Business One version which is not supported for Windows 10. For information about

Implementation of Microsoft Windows 10 updates. So far KB3163017and/or KB3163018 were


identified as root cause for the issue. However any other cumulative security update might cause the
same symptoms.

Solution

The recommended solution is to upgrade SAP Business One to a version which is supported for Windows
10.

According to the current SAP Business One Platform Support Matrix mentioned above, Windows 10 is
supported as of SAP Business One 9.1 PL10 and SAP Business One 9.2 PL00. Support is restricted to the
operating system version only.
Microsoft Edge browser is not supported at this point in time.
