The Sangguniang Bayan approved the following:
ORDINANCE NO. 20-16
AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE TEMPORARY LIFTING/NON CHARGING OF
INTEREST, PENALTIES AND OTHER CHARGES ON BUSINESS TAX, COMMUNITY TAX AND OTHER LOCAL TAXES EXCEPT REAL PROPERTY TAX WHICH DUE DATE FALLS WITHIN THE DECLARATION OF NATIONAL HEALTH EMERGENCY PERIOD FROM MARCH 17, 20 UNTIL THE ENHANCED COMMUNITY QUARANTINE IS LIFTED

SECTION 1. It is hereby declared that the collection of interest, penalties and other charges on business tax, community tax and other local taxes except real property tax shall be suspended temporarily.
SECTION 2. It is hereby declared that lifting/non-charging of said penalties and other
charges are temporary to commence on March 17, 2020 until the Enhance Community Quarantine is lifted.
SECTION 3. Effectivity. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
