1. Introduction
This document is to guide you on how to effectively and efficiently navigate within
the Self-Service portal of the Human Resource Module of Phillips Enterprise
Management System. This guide is an intellectual property of Phillips Outsourcing
Services Nigeria Limited, hence, should strictly be used for the purpose for which it
is made available. Follow all steps and figures in this guide, with illustrations depicted
accordingly.
For more guidance and assistance, contact the System Administrators, Information
Technology Department, Phillips Outsourcing Services Nigeria Limited.

2. Self-Service Portal of Human Resource Module
Self-Service sub-module of Human Resource module is the personal portal of employees,
where employees have access to freely carry out activities relating to their employment,
themselves.
▪ Locate the Self-Service box and click “Get Started” to access your personal portal.

3. Home Tab
The Home Tab of Self-Service sub-module of Phillips Enterprise Management System’s
Human Resource Module displays:

4. Self Service
This functionality allows users to view all the information they inputted
on the system themselves, during onboarding stage, and to edit some of
the information if required.
▪ Click on “Self Service” to view and edit your profile
▪ To edit fields that you have permission to edit, click on the pencil-like icon
you see on the field you wish to edit, edit as desired, and submit your updates
by clicking “save”.
▪ Scroll down the page to see all information.
See figure 3 below showing the Self-Service Page.
5. Announcements
The Announcements functionality displays all latest
news/announcements that have been shared with you.
▪ Click on Announcements
▪ Click on the “Announcement title” to read the announcement
▪ Click on “like button” and/or “comment button” to like and/or comment on the
announcement, provided the sender of the announcement enabled the comment
section while sending the announcement
▪ You can also search for announcements using the announcement’s title or sender’s
name as search criteria.

6. Attendance
Attendance feature enables you to see the history of your attendance
showing check-ins, check-outs, and total hours on a daily basis.
▪ Click on “Attendance”
▪ Hover on the colored lines to see what each line denotes (i.e., Absent, present,
weekend, holiday, leave etc.)

7. Documents
This feature enables you to see and download all company’s documents
that have been shared with you.
▪ Click on “Documents” to see and retrieve all documents shared with you from a
folder
▪ You can also search for a specific file or folder using the search box.
8. Exit Requests
This functionality allows you to initiate exit requests.
▪ Click on “Exit”
▪ Click on “Initiate New Exit Request”
▪ Fill in Exit Information and upload Resignation Letter
▪ Select Exit Date
▪ Click “Submit”
▪ Once you submit, your manager will receive a notification of your resignation,
approve the resignation or decline
▪ If your manager approves, then he/she will guide you through proper exit process
on the system.

9. Leave Tracker
This functionality allows you to request and see all the leave types you
are entitled to, see your leave balance and details of all leave types you
have applied for including your manager’s approvals and disapprovals.
You can also filter out to see all leave and holidays you have embarked
on or only leave/only holidays you have embarked.
▪ Click on “Leave Tracker”
▪ See all leave details
▪ Filter to see a report on all leave and holidays you have embarked on
▪ Request for leave by clicking “Request for Leave” button at the top of the page
▪ Enter leave request’s information and upload every leave supporting documents
▪ Click on “Request”

10. Training
Training functionality enables you to view all trainings you have been
scheduled for and give feedback(s) after completion of the training(s).
▪ Click on “Training” to see the Trainings Interface.
