Abstract

This research examines the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in personalized

learning on students' academic performance. The study also investigates factors
influencing the effectiveness of AI-based personalized learning, compares academic
outcomes between AI-supported and conventional teaching methods, and evaluates the
acceptance and adaptation levels of students and teachers to AI technology. Data were
collected through surveys and interviews involving students and educators in the Digital
Business program at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, and
analyzed using quantitative and qualitative approaches. The findings reveal that AI
significantly enhances student engagement and understanding by providing real-time
feedback, adjusting difficulty levels, and adapting to individual learning styles. The
study also finds that the acceptance and successful integration of AI depend heavily on
the perceived ease of use and the technological readiness of the learning environment.
This research emphasizes the potential of AI in improving personalized education and
provides insights into its integration challenges. The results highlight the importance of
infrastructure and user readiness for maximizing AI's effectiveness in education,
underscoring the need for ongoing support and training to enhance the adaptation
process.
