Kindly complete the projects given below

Projects for Internal Assessment:

PROJECT 1 - COMMERCIAL MATHEMATICS

TOPIC: INVESTMENTS

1. Why do we invest money?

2. List out the types of investments.

3. From the given type of investments (Bit coin, Mutual fund, Fixed deposits, Shares)
choose any three type of investments and discuss about its return and taxes.

PROJECT 2 - GEOMETRY

TOPIC: PROPERTIES OF BASIC SHAPES

1. Discuss the parts and properties of the given basic shapes and graph the line of
symmetry / axis of reflection.

*Basic shapes

1. Circle – Draw and write the properties of parts of a circle.

2. Triangle- Explain congruency and similarity.

- Draw and find centroid, circumcentre, incentre and orthocentre of a triangle.

3. Quadrilateral: Draw and explain the properties of all the types of quadrilateral.

Eg: Square, Rectangle, Rhombus, Parallelogram, Trapezium, Kite and Arrow head.

Write in detail.

PROJECT 3 – LOGICAL AND REASONING SKILLS

1. How to develop logical and reasoning skills using Mathematics?


2. Create puzzles and quiz based question with proper explanation.
3. Explain the need of these skills utilized in competitive exams.
Instructions to do projects:

1. All three projects are compulsory.


2. Use only A-4 sheets.
3. Each topic to be covered with atleast 12 sheets and page no. to be mentioned
at right side top of each page.

4. One side of the sheet with content and on the other side with pictures.

5. Each topic should have introduction, sub topics, conclusion and Bibliography.

6. Complete all the three projects and submit the projects on or before 10/06/22
