STEP 01｜Appointment

STEP 02｜Appointment confirmation and mail delivery for preparation


• Before the screenings, you will receive screening guideline, health questionnaire,
and stool sample test kit via postal service.
• You will receive a confirmation phone call 1 week and 1 day before the screening.
• You will receive a SMS notification 3 days prior to the scheduled examination date.

STEP 03｜Registration
• Confirm your appointment at the Health Promotion Center reception on the
6th floor.
• Submit your questionnaire and stool test kit.
• Confirm your registration.

STEP 04｜Changing
• After completion of registration, proceed to the changing room.
• Change into the exam uniform and slippers (remove all accessories).
• You can request to store any valuable items and cash separately.

STEP 05｜Examination
• Follow the staff’s direction to proceed with the screenings.

STEP 06｜Consultation appointment


• General consultation will be provided 1 week after the date of the screening.
• You may choose to receive the test results via phone call or by postal service.
In case of postal service, it may take upto 10 days before receiving your results.

Instructions
① Fasting
- Eat dinner before 7pm and start fasting(including water, tobacco, gum, candy, etc.) from 10 pm the day before your
examination date.
② Medication
- You may take your medication for hypertension early in the morning with a small amount of water.
- Please stop your diabetes medication including insulin injection when you start fasting at 10 pm.
※ If you have a high risk of hypoglycemia please consult with your physician in advance.
- If you are taking anticoagulant agents please stop your medication 7 days prior to the exam date.
In case you need to continue your medication please make sure to inform our staff.
※ Anticoagulant agents: Aspirin, Coumadin(warfarin), Ticlid(ticlopidine), Plavix(clopidogrel), Persantine(dipyridamole),
and etc.
- For Abdominal and Coranary CT examinations, diabetes medication containing metformin may have
a negative affect on your kidney function. Please consult with your doctor and stop the medication
for a total of 5 days(48 hours prior, day of and 48 hours after the examination).

③ For female patients


- Examination is recommended after your period for accurate test results.
If needed, you may request to postpone HPV, stool, urine, and thin-prep tests within one year.
- If you are breast feeding or may be pregnant please inform our staff prior to your examination.
- Please refrain from sexual contact and vaginal cleansing 24-48 hours prior to your scheduled examination for cervical
cancer screening.

④ Other
- Please make sure to bring your stool sample on the day of your examination.
- Contact lenses are not allowed during the examination but you may wear your glasses.
- You are recommended to come with a guardian and refrain from driving after the examination.
