NAV
NAV® is the only no-compromise Pro AV over IP solution for
distribution and switching of ultra-low latency, high quality
video and audio signals over an Ethernet network at low
bitrates. It delivers groundbreaking performance with real-
time, lossless video over IP at resolutions up to 4K @ 60 Hz
with 4:4:4 chroma sampling and ultra-low latency. The NAV
Series is the only solution that offers both 1 Gbps and 10 Gbps
encoders and decoders while providing full interoperability
across both systems.
FOX3
Fiber-optic technology offers the important advantage of
delivering multiple AV signals over extreme distances with
zero signal degradation and complete immunity from outside
interference. Signals sent over fiber are also inherently secure,
making fiber-based transmission the preferred choice in
government, military, and medical applications.
XTP
XTP Systems are comprehensive switching and distribution
systems for digital video resolutions up to 8K plus audio. Each
system can be configured to support local AV connectivity as
well as remote devices over shielded CATx and/or fiber optic
cable. The line’s modular approach and wide selection of I/O
boards, extenders, and other products ensure the flexibility
and expandability any project may require.
DTP
The Extron DTP® Systems product family is the AV industry’s
most comprehensive integration platform for small to
mid-sized twisted pair AV delivery systems that support video
resolutions up to 4K. The DTP family includes numerous
extender models in a wide variety of form factors and video
formats. The line also features a broad offering of distribution
amplifiers, switchers, and presentation matrix switchers with
essential AV signal processing and control features.
Control
A well-designed control system allows effortless management
of AV system elements, switcher control, videowall window
layout and source selection, audio management, and
environmental settings, such as room lighting should be
accessible from an intuitive interface. This makes controlling
the system as easy as, if not easier than, turning on a TV and
watching a movie at home.
Audio
Audio is an important part of the control room solution. Extron
is well known for engineering and manufacturing professional-
grade power amplifiers, speakers, DSPs, cables, and many
audio accessories to enable an optimal sound experience in
the control room.
Architectural Connectivity
Many AV systems require accessible control and AV
connectivity for operating the system and integrating local
and portable sources. Extron has an unmatched, diverse
portfolio of architectural connectivity products. They blend
seamlessly into any environment while contributing to the
overall system.
Cables
High-quality, dependable cables are a critical element for
maintaining reliability and signal integrity throughout an AV
system. Extron has a vast array of cables and adapters to
accommodate virtually any video or audio signal over copper,
twisted pair, hybrid, or fiber optic cable.
System Commissioning
This service provides verification that your AV system is working exactly as it should be. Our system design
engineers take a deep dive into system settings, optimizing dozens of audio, video, and control settings. They
also run a point-by-point physical analysis of your AV with every button pressed, every connection checked, and
every signal path verified.
Ease is Key
A Control Room installation typically consists of multiple subsystems that function seamlessly together. This
can present a challenge when it comes to AV system operation. Despite the potential complexity of the design,
operation should be intuitive and straightforward.
Customization Services
As important as it is to have an intuitive user interface, it is also vital to fit the control options to the specific
system features. The interface design requires a delicate balance between having as few distractions as possible
while still providing all of the necessary control options. Having vast experience creating user interfaces for many
different control systems, Extron offers a selection of design templates that are easy to use, yet still completely
customizable. Extron also offers user interface customization and control configuration services for your projects.
