Gifted students are not just those people who are knowledgeable

but rather they are people who can use knowledge to solve specific
problems

The concept of gifted students has long been debated. It is argued that talented learners not
only possess a vast arrange of knowledge but can also apply their wisdom to practical
situations. In this essay, I will elucidate on this statement and my advocacy for it.

To commence with, there exists myriad reasons why gifted schoolers are exceptionally
knowledgeable. Firstly, the most prominent characteristics of prodigies are intense
concentration and a unsatiable thirst for knowledge. Unlike normal children, inquisitive
learners tend to spend massive time and efforts comprehending new concepts and ideas. As
a result, they will acquire advanced content in various academic disciplines, including
physics, chemistry and cosmology. During this process, the young will also discover their
innate ability for some subjects and develop an in-depth proficiency in these fields.
Therefore, a comprehensive and extensive accumulation of knowledge can be achieved by
talented children. Secondly, the ability to memorise new facts rapidly along with an
extraordinary memory can also enhance gifted schoolers’ cognition. In contrast to ordinary
learners, prodigies can retain information for extended period of time with ease, thus
combined with their vast knowledge, these individuals can be extremely intelligent and
almost or to some extent, all-knowing.
Furthermore, I am of advocacy that gifted students have the capacity to utilizing their
knowledge to address particular issues. To illuminate, talented children tend to think
creatively and rationalize critically, both of which enable them to devise innovate solutions to
encountered problems. Their proficiency in utilizing acquired knowledge to practical
situations set them out from normal learners, who may stick to conventional thinking and
thus unable to make ground-breaking decisions. Furthermore, prodigies are also
characterized by adaptability and flexibility. These individuals exhibit a willingness to receive
feedbacks, explore different perspectives and seek alternative measures. This open-
mindedness allows talented youngsters to tackle a wide range of issues and setbacks
efficiently and effectively. In the volatile, sophisticated and multifaceted environment of the
business world, such skills are valuable and highly regarded, especially in the ever-changing
age of technology.
In conclusion, talented individuals do not only acquire a vast arrange of knowledge but can
apply their learnt concepts and ideas efficiently to solve encountered problems. Therefore, I
believe that authorities and educational institutions should make an effort to identify and
develop such abilities, for innovations and unconventional achievements the talented can
offer society.
