setting, or inclusion, intramurals provide rich
opportunities for learning and growth both on
and off the field.
Career day Students can gain valuable insights, skills,
and inspiration that prepare them for future
academic and professional success. Through
career exploration, self-reflection, skill

PERFORMANCE TASK 2
What are the other learning programs designed by the school to assist students in their academic
success?
Academic Programs Desired learning outcomes
Numeracy -to gained the knowledge of students in basic
arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction,
multiplication, and division)
Catch-Up Friday -help the students to develop the ability of
reading text, imagination, and understanding.
-to refresh the values and peace to the
students
National learning Camp Assessment -identify students who are qualified to pass
the grade level.
-identify the students who is in the field of
intervention and enhancement.
-to help the students who are in the field of
intervention through National Learning Camp
to be held on July 1-19.
How do these programs impact students learning?

NUMERACY, one of the programs of the school to gain the knowledge of students in terms
of mathematics. Due to the two years of being in a modular modality, it is good to implement
especially to high school and elementary students. Having this kind of activity or program, it
helps the students to give more knowledge and they practice more in solving the basic
arithmetic. The students should comprehend mathematics properly when they have any
assessment involving the basic arithmetic. It become easy to them when there is a basic
arithmetic.

CATCH-UP FRIDAY, a program of DepEd where every public schools should need to
implement. Due to the corona virus again, where the students are in modular sets of learning.
The students having difficulties in reading and understanding the text or the stories. Therefore,
the school implemented it to gain the knowledge, understanding, and comprehension of the
students. Every Friday, the students give time for reading and analyzing the stories in both
English and Filipino. The students also learn the different values or discipline that they applied
in their everyday lives. On the other hand, during catch-up Friday, the students should get lazy
to go to the school. Therefore, the attendance of the students should be affected.

NATIONAL LEARNING CAMP ASSESSMENT impacts student learning by providing

valuable insights into their academic strengths and weaknesses. This assessment helps
educators tailor instruction to address individual student needs effectively, leading to improved
learning outcomes. Ultimately, it contributes to a more personalized and targeted approach to
education, benefiting students' academic growth and success.

PERFORMANCE TASK 3
Design a learning program using the given template.
I. TITLE of the Learning Program: MATHEMATICS CAMP

II. Rationale:
Many students see mathematics as nothing but a subject with a lot of
incomprehensible rules to remember. However, mathematics is not just about numbers,
equations, and rules—it’s more than that. Yet, most people have not seen a well-constructed
mathematical proof on the infinitude of primes, or know how it can be used to solve
problems ranging from optimizing web searches to taking a picture of a black hole in the
center of the galaxy (Illinois Tech).
Math Camp is an energetic and active day of mathematical teamwork, problem
solving, and skill development.
Students engage in fun-filled experiences about teamwork, problem solving,
mathematics, and the connections between mathematics and the real world, all in a camp-like
atmosphere where there is song, dance, and silliness.

III. Specific Objectives:

During the camp, the students should be able to;
a. Gain concrete and hands-on experience in using the math concepts
they’ve learned in class;
b. reinforce the competencies and skills they’ve acquired in regular class through
dynamic and real-life related activities; and
c. gain more interest and a better attitude toward learning math.

IV. Conditions which prompted you to design the program

The student-teacher observed most of the Grade 7 students at Central National
High School having difficulties in learning mathematics. Especially in solving and
comprehension in different mathematics terminologies. On the other hand, the
student-teacher try to use interactive games to present the new lesson. Thus, the
students should engage on the lesson and got the students’ attention on the entire
discussion.

V. Persons responsible/Duties and responsibilities

Persons responsible Duties/Responsibilities
Mathematics teachers Facilitate all the activities per stations;
Grade 7 mathematics teacher Station 1: Mathematics Songs
Grade 8 mathematics teacher Station 2: Mathematics dance
Grade 9 mathematics teacher Station 3: mathematics in the real-life
Grade 10 mathematics teacher Situation

Grade 8 Class president Checking of attendance:
Grade 8 Ant Grade 7 Anthurium
Grade 8 Butterfly Grade 7 Begonia
Grade 8 Cricket Grade 7 Camia
Grade 8 Dragon fly Grade 7 Dahlia

How did I feel?

BEFORE THE ACTIVITY
24th FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY
Before joining the school activities, I feel excited, happy, and at the same time nervous.
Before the school activities, there is a preparation for this. There is a presentation per year
level; folk dance, modern dance, vocal solo, vocal duet, and teachers’ presentation. teachers
of grade 7 invites me to be one of the dance instructors of modern and folk dance in grade 7.
I feel belong on this kind of activity because it builds my talent and build my confidence,
also it is the time for having a good conversation with my students. During the rehearsal, I
feel nervous because my students presented their dance movement on the stage. After their
rehearsal, I feel satisfied because they do their best while they are presenting.
Foundation day, the celebration will be celebrated at night. I am so glad because we are
assigned on the decorations. I do not have any idea about skirting linens on the tables, one of
the teachers ask me to do this, she taught me how to skirt, then I follow. Therefore, I do my
best on this matter. after this I feel satisfied with my skirting. Because I discovered again my
new skills in decoration.

AFTER THE ACTIVITY

An immense sense of responsibility and honor to contribute positively to the school's
legacy. Witnessing the dedication and achievements of the institution over the past 24 years
inspires me to uphold its standards of excellence in education. As a practice teacher, I am eager
to immerse myself in the vibrant school community and actively engage with students, faculty,
and staff. Moreover, I am committed to implementing innovative teaching strategies and utilizing
instructional materials effectively to support student learning and growth. Ultimately, I am
excited about the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and
contribute to the continued success of Central National High School.
AFTER THE ACTIVITY, I LEARNED THAT
As teacher I need to be flexible at all times. I need to be knowledgeable enough in
different areas especially in different school activities. There are times that me, as a teacher will
assigned in one task that I need to fulfill the satisfaction of the other. Lastly, as teacher, it doesn’t
need that I master only my subject areas/specialization. I need to master other areas, such as TLE
and MAPEH, through this I will share my knowledge to my co-teacher and to my students.
