Routing Area

Engineers should never lift the cable by pulling the wires. Always use cable pull tabs or gripping
the connector. Removing or reseating cables is challenging in tight spaces or for tiny connectors.
Many backplanes are secured using tabs instead of screws. Engineers should examine how the
backplane is held in-place, particularly the metal guide hooks.
