Project structure

“Other materials” folder - Contains project support materials.


This folder is not needed for work. It does not need to touch!
“Shot #01-08” comp - Scenes that make up the presentation.
“Text or picture #01-07” comp - Here you can change the text
in the scene or put a logo, picture, icon.

“Color Control” comp - In this composition, you can control


glow color and background color
“Main” comp - render composition.
Work witch project:

1 Open “Technology.aep” project.

2 To begin, let's set up the visual part of our presentation. Go to the “Color
Control” composition(1), select the layer with the same name (2) in it, and
go to “Effects Control” (3) window. Here you can change the color of the
elements, background, and text. Enable or disable depth of field.

3 Now open all compositions “Shot #01,03,04,06,07,08" and replace
text, logo, icon in them. The text is in the corresponding compositions.

4 Render “Main” composition.


Element 3D

If you have opened a project and you do not display 3D objects (awards,
pedestals) do not panic! Most likely you have lost links to 3D objects and
textures in Element 3D. This is normal for this plugin!
Perform the following steps and everything will be fine!

Select “Element” layer (1) and go to “Effect Controls” panel (2) and click
to “Scene Setup” (3) button.

Go to scroll "File" and select the section "Relink Scene Files” (4)

A window has appeared “Relink Assets”, at the bottom we press


“Add Path” button (5).

The following window will appear in which you need to select a
“3d models” folder (6). This folder can be found in project folder.
Then click “Select folder” button (7).

Just click “OK” (8).

It may take a few seconds before the 3D model of award appears on
preview screen. Just all 3D models should be uploaded to the project.
After the award appears, again click "OK" (9). Now you can safely work
with the project - all models and textures are loaded!.
