IMPORTANT INSTRUCTION : OST 2024
Dear Candidate,
Please read the following important instructions for appearing in the CBT carefully:
1. The candidate must bring the E-Admit Card printed in coloured format on the day of Computer Based Test to
the allotted Test Centre on the date and time mentioned above. The printed E-Admit card must be presented
for verification along with ORIGINAL (not photocopy or scanned copy) Aadhar card. Only Aadhar card will be
considered as valid ID proof.
2. The candidate’s photograph and signature should be legibly printed and visible on the photo ID card and
should match the name on E-Admit Card. The Photo ID card should not be damaged or smudged.
3. Candidates will NOT be allowed to enter the Test Centre without valid E-Admit Card and Photo Identification
card in original as mentioned above.
4. Candidates will be under CCTV surveillance from entry to exit in the test premises.
5. In case of change in the name by the candidate due to marriage, the candidate must bring the original,
matriculation certificate along with marriage registration certificate/other documentary proof (in original)
along with original Identification Card to establish the identity after marriage. The identity of the candidate will
be matched from the proofs to be provided by the candidate. Candidates are allowed to carry only E-Admit
Card and Identity proof inside the Test centre.
6. NO REQUEST FOR CHANGE IN THE TEST DATE, TIME and TEST CENTRE WILL BE CONSIDERED UNDER ANY
CIRCUMSTANCES.
7. The E-Admit Card will be valid only for the Test date as specified above at page no. 1.
8. Issuance of this E-Admit Card does not constitute an offer of admission.
9. This E-Admit Card is issued based on the declaration made by the candidate in his/her online application
submitted for the course. In case, it is found at any stage of selection process that the candidate does not
fulfill the eligibility criteria and the declaration made by him/her or any document/information submitted by
him/her are found to be false or he/she has provided any wrong information, at any point of time, the
candidate’s candidature will be cancelled. If such an event happens after selection, his/her candidature will be
terminated without prejudice to AWES’s right to take any action as it may deem fit.
10. The E-Admit Card is made available on the web site of AWES for downloading & printing by the candidates.
This E-Admit Card is computer generated and shall not be sent by post.
11. Candidates are required to reach their allotted Test Centres on reporting time as mentioned in the E-Admit
Card (which is 01 hours 15 mins in advance of the scheduled time of Test) so that entry formalities and
compulsory frisking can be done smoothly. The main gate of Test centre will be closed 15 minutes before the
commencement of the test time. No late entry is allowed. Candidates are, therefore, advised to locate their
Test centre and its accessibility at least a day before the test so that they can reach the centre on time on the
day of the test. AWES will not be responsible for candidate reporting late.
12. No candidate shall be allowed to leave the Test Hall during the Computer Based Test.
13. Compensatory time in addition to the duration of the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be allowed to eligible
candidates who are Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, as applicable.
14. Candidate’s admission to all the stages of the selection tests is purely PROVISIONAL subject to satisfying the
prescribed eligibility conditions. Mere issue of admit card/call letter to the candidate(s) for any stage of the
selection process will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally accepted by AWES. If due to any
unintentional/inadvertent/undue error, an admit card/call letter has been issued to any candidate
(ineligible/duplicate etc.), in such a case, the admit card will be considered as invalid and the candidature of
such a candidate will be summarily rejected on detection at any stage of the selection process.
15. Candidates may be required to produce their ORIGINAL document(s)/certificate(s)/testimonial(s) at any
stage of the selection process. The candidature may be rejected at any stage if the
document(s)/certificate(s)/testimonial(s), etc. are not found to be in order or as per our requirement. On
verification of document(s)/certificate(s)/ testimonial(s), if any candidate is found to have made a false
declaration and submitted false/fake/incorrect document(s)/certificate(s)/testimonial(s), the candidature of
the candidate will be disqualified/rejected, the candidate's name will be blacklisted and will not be considered
for any future employment with AWES.

16. User ID and password for the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be provided to the candidate 10 minutes before
commencement of the test at their respective seat. The Candidate will be required to enter Login ID and
Password which will be provided at Test centre to appear for Computer Based Test. Name and roll number will
be displayed on your computer screen.
17. The candidates should check their eligibility in all respects as per the Online Advertisement. The registered
candidates may log grievances, if any, with Examination Help Desk Email: [email protected] and
for any query contact AWES Helpline Number 07969049941 at least two days before the scheduled CBT.
18. Candidates must refrain from creating any obstruction during the conduct of Test. If any candidate is found
obstructing the conduct of the Test or creating disturbance at the Test venue, his/her candidature shall be
summarily cancelled. Such candidate shall also be liable to be debarred from future Tests of AWES and legal
proceedings could be initiated against him/her.
19. In order to familiarize themselves with the Computer Based Test, the candidates are advised to go through the
demo (mock test) available on the instruction page of AWES application form (https://mock.cbtexamportal.in).
20. The candidate should bring only E-Admit Card, original Photo Identification Card and Ball Point Pen to the Test
Centre. Candidates are strictly advised not to bring mobile/cellular phones, electronic gadgets, earphones or
microphones, calculator, smart pen, books, notes, electronics or wrist watches of any kind, pagers or any other
electronic communications device, bags, wallet, purses, pen drives or dongles, any type of metallic items,
jewellery etc. inside the Test premises. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action
against such candidates including ban from future Tests. Candidates are also advised not to bring any
valuable/costly items to the Test centre, as safekeeping of the same cannot be assured. AWES will not be
responsible for any loss in this regard.
21. Frisking will be done at entry point and during the Test. In the Test , if a candidate is (or has been) found guilty
of: (i) using unfair means during the Test or (ii) impersonating or procuring impersonation by any person or (iii)
misbehaving in the Test hall or (iv) resorting to any irregular or improper means in connection with his/her
candidature for selection or (v) obtaining support for his/her candidature by any unfair means, such a
candidate may, in addition to rendering himself/herself liable to criminal prosecution, will also be liable (a) to be
disqualified from the Test for which he/she is a candidate and (b) to be debarred, either permanently or for a
specified period, from any recruitment tests conducted by AWES.
22. Candidate is also advised to read the “Online CBT Instructions” carefully for Computer Based Test available
with this E-Admit Card.
23. Candidates are also advised to keep visiting website of AWES form time to time for further updates.
24. Please retain a copy of this E-Admit Card safely for future record, as the same is required to be produced in the
subsequent stage(s), as applicable.
25. Anyone found to be disclosing, publishing, reproducing, transmitting, storing or facilitating transmission and
storage of test contents in any form or any information therein in whole or part thereof or by any means i.e.,
verbal or written, electronic or mechanical or taking away the papers supplied in the test centre or found to be
in unauthorized possession of test content will be considered as serious misconduct and will be
debarred/disqualified from selection process. AWES will take disciplinary and legal action as per rules and
such cases will be reported to police, if necessary.
26. Candidates have to make their own arrangement for lodging and boarding for appearing in any stage of the
selection process. No accommodation or arrangement for keeping documents or belongings will be provided
during the entire selection process.
27. Please be guided by the online advertisement notification, as applicable, on such relevant matters and all other
information/criteria regarding eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications, mode of selection,
cancellation of the selection process etc. shall be governed by the policy(s)/procedures/rules and regulations
prevailing in the Institute.
28. The decision of the Managing Director, AWES will be final and binding on all candidates on all matters relating
to the eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications, mode of selection, cancellation of the admission
process, etc. and no enquiry/correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
29. Canvassing in any form, directly or indirectly will result in disqualification of the candidature and no
correspondence will be entertained in this regard. The candidate's name will be blacklisted and will not be
considered for any future admissions in AWES.
