PENGGUNAAN CAUSAL CONJUNCTION PADA KALIMAT SEBAB-AKIBAT


1. Digunakan pada awal kalimat yang merujuk pada kalimat sebelumnya
 I dropped my watch on the floor. Consequently, it is broken.
 Andy broke his leg recently. Accordingly, he is unable to ski at the
moment.
 Hani missed her laptop. As the result, she could not finish the
homework.
 The brakes do not work. Therefore, the car is unsafe to drive.

2. Causal conjunction = conjunction. Digunakan untuk menghubungkan klausa,


diletakkan di tengah atau di awal kalimat.
 Dad was late for work because he missed the train.
Because he missed the train, Dad was late for work.

 Tom felt very hungry since he did not eat his breakfast.
Since he did not eat his breakfast, Tom felt very hungry.

 We are going for a picnic since the weather is so nice.


Since the weather is so nice, we are going for a picnic.

 She is going to bed, so she would not be tired tomorrow.


So she would not be tired tomorrow, she is going to bed now.
