1.Title of the research concept: “The impact of social media on
mental health: A systematic review and meta-analysis.”
2.Brief research problem: Social media has become an integral part
of our daily lives, and its use has been linked to various mental health
issues such as depression, anxiety, and addiction. However, the
relationship between social media use and mental health is complex
and not yet fully understood. The purpose of this study is to conduct a
systematic review and meta-analysis of existing literature to
determine the impact of social media on mental health.
3.Aim of the proposed research: The aim of this study is to provide
a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between social
media use and mental health.
4.Objectives:To identify the different types of social media platforms
and their usage patterns.To analyze the impact of social media on
mental health, including the prevalence of mental health issues among
social media users.
5.Importance of the proposed research: This study is important for
several reasons. First, it will provide a better understanding of the
relationship between social media use and mental health, which can
inform the development of effective interventions to mitigate the
negative effects of social media on mental health. Second, it will
contribute to the existing body of literature on social media and
mental health, which is still in its early stages. Finally, it will help
raise awareness about the potential risks associated with social media
use and promote responsible social media use.
