Project Drawing:

1) Project description:
The project focuses on comprehensive implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) for a
residential building of Mr. Abdullah Siddiqui located at B-158, general public Kohsar Hyderabad.
Covering an area of 988 sqft (110 square yards). The collaboration involve key stakeholder client,
architectural modeler, structural modeler and contractor. The goal was to optimize design and
functionality of G structure, prioritizing consideration such as lateral stability, durability, functionality
and aesthetic appeal. The layout of house is designed to provide optimal size and placement of
bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. Creating an environment of comfort and overall well-being.

2) Project objectives:
 The primary objective of the project is to achieve 3-dimensional modeling of a residential
building in Hyderabad using BIM technology including BIM Execution plan, 3d architectural
model and 3d structural model by Revit 2022.
 Design visualization, coordination and rendering to minimize errors and optimize construction
quality by Revit 2022.
 Clash detection by Nevis work.
 Facilitate collaboration among project stakeholder by providing access to BIM model for real
time updates and communication through Google drive.
 Training project teams on BIM software and methodologies to ensure effective implementation
and utilization throughout the project through Google meet.

3) Project scope:
The scope of project is restricted to BIM modeling for architectural and structural elements only, with
the exclusion of MEP and HVAC works. The level of development for the model will be LOD350 that aims
to achieve BIM maturity stage 2.

4) Project Framework:
To accomplish the objectives of this project, the approach illustrated in Figure I entails the initial stage of
arranging drawings and data. This involves organizing and preparing all the required architectural and
structural designs. This contributes to the establishment of firm groundwork for the project.
Subsequently, a project proposal is created, comprising the project's scope, objectives, description,
outcomes, and the structural framework of the project. This proposal functions as a comprehensive plan
that outlines the entire project. The BIM Execution Plan will be subsequently produced, specifying the
specific approaches and procedures for the implementation of BIM across the project. This guarantees
that all parties agree and comprehend their respective duties and obligations. The 3D model will be
developed using Revit software, incorporating both architectural and structural components. The Level
of Development (LOD) for the model will be set at 350. This enables for an accurate depiction of the
project and assists in recognizing my potential clashes or concerns. Collaboration and integration are
crucial parts of the process, since it ensures good communication and coordination among all
stakeholders. Therefore, clash detection will be conducted utilizing Naves works software to detect and
resolve my clashes that may happen between different construction elements. CPM (Critical Path
Method) and risk delaying strategies will Men be applied utilizing Primavera software to manage the
project schedule and mitigate my potential risks that may affect the project time frame. For carting,
Microsoft Excel will be used for Earned Value Analysis for tracking the progress of budget with respect to
the schedule of the project.

5) Outcomes and deliverables:


The outcomes and deliverables that are linked with objectives of this project are as follow:

• Integration of scheduling and costing components for better project


planning and monitoring.
• Minimization of errors and conflicts during construction by enhanced
visualization of the building design.
• LOD 350 attainment enhances model detail, helping accurate
documentation and coordination.
• Reaching BIM maturity stage 2 fosters advanced collaboration among all
stakeholders, improving overall project efficiency by providing real-time
updates on the progress of the project.

7) Conclusion:

The proposal outlines a strategy plan for using BIM technology to transform the design and constructron
procedures of the residential house. The project intends to achieve unproved levels of efficiency,
accuracy, and stakeholder participation by prioritizing 3-dimensional modeling, clash defection,
coordination, and enhanced cooperation. This proposal establishes a strong foundation for a successful
BIM implementation by bass, a specific focus, specific objectives, and a comprehensive project
structure. This implementation will not only enhance the building's design and functionality but also
facilitate future development m construction methods.
