ELECTROHACK

IMPORTANT POINTS :-

1.All submissions must be original work created during the


hackathon. Plagiarism would lead to disqualification.
2. Team leader need to create a repository (by same project titles ad
mentioned below) in his/her github profile by choosing any one of
the below project titles as mentioned below and share the link for
the same in the Whatsapp group with the team name.
3. The team leader can push or commit the changes into his/her
github repository only from 10 am 22 Nov to 3pm 23 Nov. Any
changes made to the github repository not between the mentioned
timing would not be accepted.

Choose any one of the following options for your hackathon project :-
1. Neighbourhood Safety Problems

Problem statement: In many neighbourhoods, safety concerns such as potholes,


broken streetlights, and suspicious activities often go unnoticed or unreported due to the
lack of a centralized, accessible, and transparent reporting system. These issues can lead to
accidents, decreased community morale, and a sense of neglect. There is a need for a
platform that empowers residents to report safety concerns in real-time and ensures these
reports reach the relevant authorities for timely resolution.

Description: The hackathon challenges participants to create an innovative web or


application that addresses neighbourhood safety problems having user friendly UI/UX with
different features related to the problem statement.

Potential Impact: Improved Safety: Prompt identification and resolution of safety


concerns will lead to safer neighbourhoods, reducing accidents and crime.
Enhanced Civic Engagement: Encourages community participation and accountability by
bridging the gap between residents and local authorities.
Transparency in Governance: Provides authorities with a clear and systematic approach to
managing safety concerns, ensuring accountability and transparency.

2.SMART HEALTH ASSISTANT FOR RURAL


COMMUNITIES

Problem Statement: Access to quality healthcare is a significant challenge in rural


communities due to factors such as limited medical facilities, shortage of trained healthcare
professionals, lack of health awareness, and inadequate transportation. Many residents face
delays in diagnosis and treatment, leading to preventable illnesses and complications. There
is a pressing need for a smart health assistant that can bridge the gap by providing timely
medical assistance, guidance, and education tailored for rural communities.
Description: The task is to develop a digital health assistant aimed at improving
healthcare access for rural communities. Participants must design a solution that addresses
the challenges faced by rural people.

Potential Impact: The solution should revolutionize the healthcare, empowering


individual with knowledge about their health. Ultimately, it paves the way for smarter,
scalable, and cost-effective healthcare systems in rural communities.

3.STARTUP ECOSYSTEM INTERGRATOR

Problem Statement: Entrepreneurs often face challenges navigating the startup


ecosystem due to a lack of access to essential resources, mentors, and funding
opportunities. The absence of a centralized platform that connects budding entrepreneurs
with the right people and tools creates barriers to innovation and business growth. There is
a need for a digital platform that simplifies networking, provides curated resources, and
facilitates meaningful interactions between entrepreneurs, mentors, and investors, fostering
a thriving startup ecosystem.

Description: Build a digital platform that connects new entrepreneurs with essential
resources, mentors and potential investors. This platform aims to facilitate networking and
provide insights into starting and managing a business effectively, with a focus on ease of
use for newcomers. Keep the UI/UX user friendly and interactive.

Potential Impact: Create a user-friendly interface for networking and resource sharing,
where new entrepreneurs can pitch their ideas and the potential investors can have an eye
on him. This platform empowers new entrepreneurs, bridges the knowledge gap, fosters
innovation, boosts startup success rate and encourages networking.
