CHAPTER IV MANAGEMENT STUDY

Providing a guide for ensuring the continuing existence of the established


company, as this chapter aims to establish the business and management structure.
It will

a. establish the chosen ownership arrangement;

b. use a chart to illustrate the organizational structure;

c. describe the capitalization of the company; and

d. Specify job descriptions, procedural requirements, employment process


and organizational processes.

A. Form of Ownership

Tranquilitea will operate as a partnership, combining resources and expertise of its


investors. This structure allows shared management responsibilities and financial
contributions, ensuring stability and diverse input in business decisions.

A.1. Vision
Tranquilitea envisions being a leading provider of wellness-oriented beverages,
known for its innovative coconut-based tea products that promote relaxation and
health, while fostering a sustainable and health-conscious community.
A.2. Mission
Tranquilitea’s mission is to offer high-quality coconut-based teas, combining
health benefits and rich flavors to meet the evolving preferences of health-
conscious consumers. The brand commits to sustainable sourcing, excellent
customer service, and fostering a positive impact on local communities.
A.3. Capitalization

The initial investment required for Tranquilitea is ₱1,000,000, allocated as follows


Proponent: ₱500,000 (50%)
Investor 1: ₱300,000 (30%)
Investor 2: ₱100,000 (10%)
Investor 3: ₱80,000 (8%)
Grants: ₱20,000 (2%)
This budget covers raw materials, equipment, packaging, and marketing
expenses. A focus on local sourcing will help reduce transportation costs and
support the community.

C. Manpower Requirements

most suitable candidates for jobs that require not only the bare minimum of skills but
also exceptional abilities to fulfill the company's objective

D. Employment Process

The employment process will consist of the following steps

1.Job Posting -Advertisements through social media, local job boards, and referrals.
2.Application Submission- Online or walk-in submissions.
3.Screening- Initial review of qualifications based on the job description.
4.Interview -Personal and professional competency assessment.
5.Testing- Practical skills test for production and technical positions.
G. Legal Requirements

G.1. City Hall of Butuan

Obtain the necessary permits and clearances to legally operate within the city.
These include a business permit and compliance with local zoning ordinances and
regulations.

Tranquilitea must register with the Social Security System to provide its
employees with social security benefits. This requirement safeguards the welfare of
workers and complies with labor regulations.

G.4 DTI

The business name "Tranquilitea" must be registered with the Department of


Trade and Industry, ensuring legal recognition and protection of the brand name under
Philippine business laws.

G.5 SEC
As a partnership, Tranquilitea is required to register with the Securities and
Exchange Commission. This registration legitimizes the partnership and allows it to
operate in compliance with corporate regulations.
G.6 FDA

Given that Tranquilitea produces consumable goods, securing FDA approval is


essential. This ensures that products meet safety and quality standards, thereby
protecting consumer health
