CONTENT STANDARD Main: 1.2 Understand meaning in a variety of familiar contexts


Complementary: 2.1 Communicate simple information intelligibly

LEARNING STANDARD Main: 1.2.2 Understand with support specific information and details of simple sentences
Complementary: 2.1.5 Describe objects using suitable words and phrases

By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:


1. Main: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to listen and fill in the table
OBJECTIVES with at least 3 correct details.
2. Complementary: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to share about at
least 1 friend correctly.

1. Pupils will be able to form sentences in correct structure.


SUCCESS CRITERIA
2. Pupils will be able to share about their robot.
Pre-lesson: Pupils recap on can /can’t statements from the previous lesson.
Lesson delivery:
1. Pupils are divided into groups of 6 to make paper robots and are asked to sit with their
group members.
2. Pupils draw a table with their friends’ names and the sentences as shown in the
textbook.
LEARNING ACTIVITY
3. Pupils go around the class and complete the table.
Q: Can you stand on one leg?
A: No, I can’t stand on one leg.
4. Pupils share their findings with the class.
Post-lesson: Everyone in the class follows the teacher instruction to do what is stated in
the sentences in the table.
