INTRODUCTION
This assignment is about the usage of charts in excel for the given data set.
I had used various charts such as,
• Bar chart
• Radar chart
• Water Fall chart
• Scatter chart
• Combo chart of line and clustered
Bar chart:
Bar charts in Excel are one of the options found in the Charts group
used to display the values in the bar-chart format.
Radar Chart:
The radar chart in Excel visualizes the performance and makes
concentrations of strengths and weaknesses visible.
Water fall chart:
A waterfall chart is a form of data visualization that helps in
understanding the cumulative effect of sequentially introduced positive or
negative values.
Scatter chart:
A scatter chart, commonly referred to as a scatter plot, is a
graphical representation used to explain the relationship between two continuous
variables within a dataset.
Combo chart:
Line graph and Bar chart combinations are among the easiest and
most popular ways of using combo charts. These charts display a line that tracks
the average across every bar or the maximum or average value of every bar..

The data set given contains details about the customer, product segment, product
container, shipping mode of the products, sales, profits, sales in the particular
states, city and country etc.

This is the table extracted from the data set using functions
countif.
This table contains about the product category and its
shipping mode.

Figure 2.2:
This is chart explains about the product category and its
shipping mode for exports.

Inference:
• This chart shows about the sales of product category through the
shipping mode.
• From this chart, we can understand that office suppliers shipped
more through regular air.
• Furniture has shipped more in delivery truck.
• Technology also shipped more through regular air.
• The company has to focus more on express air mode.

This table is extracted from the data set which contains sales
and profits of each Customer segments.
The function used here is sumif.

Figure 2.4:
This chart shows the data of total sales and profits earned in
each customer segment.

Inference:
• From this chart, the sales and profit are maximum from the
customers in corporate sector.
• The company has to focus to maximise its sales to the customers in
small business.
• By increasing the sales in home office sectors the company can attain
more profit.
• Even though small business has less sales that consumer sector, it
has more profits that consumer sector.

This table formulated using the function sumif.

Figure 2.6:
This chart is called waterfall chart. It shows each region’s profit.

Inference:
• The profit has earned more in the east region of united states.
• The company has to focus more on the central region of the United states.
• The west and the south region are nearer to attain more profit.

The data are extracted using the function countif

The scatter chart shows about the how much new quantity has sold
in each state of United States.

Inference:
• The sales of new quantity have reached high in California.
• The company can introduce more new quantity in the states California,
New York, Texas, Illinois, Florida.
• The company has to focus its sales on the states Montana, Rhode Island,
Delaware, South Dakote, Wyoming, North Dakota.
• The new quantities are not welcomed much in these states. So the company
can plan to go with some other new quantity in that regions.

This chart is combo chart of bar chart and line chart.

Inference:
• From this chart, we can identify each container and its maximum
shipping mode.
• Jumbo Drum has shipped more in Delivery truck.
• Small box has shipped more in regular air.
• Many containers has shipped through regular air.
• Only jumbo box and jumbo drum have shipped through Delivery
truck.
• Only jumbo box and jumbo drum haven’t shipped through express
air.
