Types of Environmental Audits
There are 3 main types of Environmental Audits:
1. Environmental compliance audits
2. Environmental management audits to verify whether an
organization meets its stated objectives
3. Functional environmental audits such as for water and
electricity and
4. Risk audit – area of vulnerability & specific hazards at site
and plant level
