Insight Paper #1
Insight Paper #1
I believe that everything can be and will be achieved and done easily and faster if we do
it in groups. No matter if you say you are someone who prefers to work alone. Because the
company alone that teams and groups bring is enough to lighten up a workload of projects.
What exactly moves us to join groups? Personally, it’s for affiliation. I’ve always been a people
person. I thrive in settings wherein I know I’m not alone in the experience and that I know I will
be meeting people. I feed off people’s energy, that’s always been who I am.
If history can be trusted, it’s obvious that has never been an organization, a union, a
team, a community, a group that has never experienced conflict. It’s human nature. And working
with our thesis, there has been a few that we have experienced. One of the most common is
probably Task Interdependence. I know that motivations an inspirations vary from people to
people but the interdependence of performing your job as a member of a team is all too
common. Task distribution is there for a reason, because people have different strengths and
differences.
As someone who has decided that I a hundred percent would like to take on the path of
being the Human Resource Management field (at first at least), I want to be able to reiterate that
and build of on that differences to create a more dynamic and diverse workplace. I want people
to be able to work around workloads that are complex, vague, and stressful.
I want it to be the compromising style of solving a conflict too. Because at the end of the
day these people you are having conflicts with are still people that you will be having close work
relations with. To find a common ground wherein both sides can benefit, both sides can give
something positive our, both sides will win is something I aspire to do in the future.
