Note:

1. The thesis adviser is allowed only to handle maximum of 10 students.


2. The students will pay the required defense fees to the USM cashier (P1650.00 for Outline). Submit the official receipt (OR) to the Department Research Coordinator (DRC).
3. Submit the printed outline (5 copies) to the Department research Coordinator three (3) days before the schedule of defense.
4. Turnitin plagtest and indexing should be done by the thesis adviser. Plagtest result required is 20% similarity index or less.
5. The deadline for submission of approved thesis outline will be on January 24, 2025 (Friday) until 5:00PM. Late submission of approved thesis outline is one day before the last submission of final grade,
otherwise an IP grade is given.
6. Copies to be submitted: For e copy, please follow the sequence of your hardbound which includes title page, approval sheet (with scan signatures), and application for outline defense (with scan
signatures).
1) 1 soft bound and electronic copy for Department Research Coordinator
2) 1 softbound and electronic copy for College Research Coordinator
3) 1 electronic copy for RDO
5) 1 softbound and electronic copy for adviser
6) 1 softbound copy for student researcher
